Beautiful hotel, with amazing amenities. Loved the mineral pools. Our room was stunning, with attention to detail. We received a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine for our 20th anniversary, which was much appreciated. Staff were always friendly and professional. I highly recommend Oak Bay Beach Hotel. The current owners (they bought in 2020) have transformed this place into a jewel, keeping all the original charm. Breakfast is included and was an amazing 5* experience! Lovely location overlooking a marina. We’ll be back! 😊👍

The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a heated tile floor and a large shower. There was a balcony that had a table & 2 chairs that overlooked a small garden and the back part of the property, they also provided a throw blanket to snuggle and keep warm in if it’s chilly. A couple games and robes were provided too. You can stream on the large flatscreen tv. Coffee & tea in the room, a healthy & unique breakfast is provided in the mini fridge. Also a bottle of local chilled wine in their for purchase if you so choose. Loved the simplistic natural decor. SO much attention to detail. Make sure you make a reservation to eat at the Pluvia Restaurant, it’s a beautiful dining experience.

Located just 3 minutes’ walk from Craigdarroch Castle, this Victoria heritage property offers free laundry facilities located on-site and free WiFi available in all rooms and common areas. From the moment you enter the hotel you are greeted by lovely staff Olga/Orla was her name. She showed you round and informed of everything you needed to know. A free international phone for customer use was an added bonus. There is no lift, Orla helped us with our cases…..very strong for a petite girl! The decor in the whole building was exceptional. Nicest place stayed for a long while. Communal area to read, play games, or just relax to the beautiful background music. There are no tv’s in the hotel, but that wasn’t an issue, quite nice really….time to think and plan ahead! We paid extra for breakfast which was cooked fresh. Nice start to the day. 30 minutes walking down one road to Victoria centre and harbour. Would highly recommend.

Surrounded by rain forest, this Ucluelet hotel boasts spa and fitness facilities and an outdoor swimming pool. An on-site restaurant is featured. Free WiFi is included. Superb location with outstanding views. Excellent service. Easy to walk into town. Well recollections of you want to self-cater. Breakfast was good and in the evening I would recommend eating in the bar. There is also a restaurant the bar is less formal.
