Located in Lugano, 2.7 km from Exhibition Center Lugano, Bigatt Hotel & Restaurant provides accommodation with a restaurant, a private parking, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a bar. We're a family of 4. Stayed one night and regret that we didn't stay longer. Pros: - The hotel is fully renovated with very modern room & facilities while conserving the classic and historic feeling of original site & surroundings. - room was spacious, and the interior was very nice with good lighting conditions. - view was a bit limited lake view due to the original building structure, but maybe in another room, it should have a great lake view, as the hotel stood on the hill over the lake. - had a dinner and a breakfast at the hotel restaurant and food was very nice with at least one star quality, and people there provided really attentive and kind service. - They have dedicated, large size parking building (with a fee) Cons - It's actually a little far from Lugano center, but I knew it and it was not my problem. All in all, it is a much more modern and classy hotel than expected, and I would definitely stay here if I visit Lugano again.

Located in Lugano-Paradiso, a 5-minute walk from Lake Lugano and the Monte San Salvatore Park, The View Lugano offers modern suites with free WiFi and free air conditioning, a wellness area and a... What did I not like about the property! I liked everything. EVERYTHING! my friend and I thought to rent a car for ease of movement around Lugano, but we ended up taking the train. Lo and behold, they have these smart cars in the hotel, that they lend to you FOR FREE!! and after we checked out and asked if we can borrow the car again, they said “of course you can” so polite, so accommodating. The View was insanely beautiful from our room, I didn’t want to leave the room because I wanted to stay in the comfort of my beautiful room and watch the view and get all the endorphins and happy feels from the view. The price is high but it’s totally justified. And the staff is just so courteous and amazing. I highly recommend staying at this hotel, and I hope to visit again soon.

Albergo Hotel Tesserete is a family-run hotel built in 1910 in the centre of Tesserete. It features a large green garden and is only 7 km from Lugano. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Family Besomi really understands how to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Villa Principe Leopoldo - Ticino Hotels Group can be found amid a large park above Lugano, offering panoramic views of Lake Lugano and the mountains, and featuring leisure, sport and wellness... Location is absolutely beautiful, staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served with a lot of good food and drinks. Christmas decorations are amazing. Bar is great with live music.

Set in Arogno, 7.9 km from Swiss Miniatur, Locanda La Pignatta offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Located 20mns from the lake in the hills, Arogno is a very beautiful and quiet village. We had a great time at Locanda La Pignatta. Perfect welcome with Giovanni. The hotel has recently been renovated. Very clean with good bedding. We dined there, the menu offers quality local dishes. The villagers meet on the beautiful terrace in the evening which gives a very authentic character. Thank you to all the team for this pleasant stay. We'll be back with pleasure.
