This was the last leg of our week of Swiss Travel Pass train trips specifically to visit the Kloster Sarnen. After six days of crowded tourist destinations, Sarnen was a welcomed place to rest and recuperate. Hotel Metzgern was a genuine oasis. Close to the Train Station, extremely friendly staff, excellent restaurant and food and by far the nicest place we stayed on our journey. The bathroom and spa bath in the Panorama Suite has to be seen to be believed. LED lighting in the tiles made for such a romantic and relaxing atmosphere to wash away the travel aches and pains. As far as accommodation is concerned this was the highlight of our trip.

Affacciato sul Lago di Sarnen, il Seehotel Wilerbad sorge in una posizione idilliaca tra le montagne e il lago, a 20 minuti di auto da Lucerna. The location was beautiful. It was nice to have a couple of days to relax in the spa since travelling Europe. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which allows wasy access to the train station. Staff were lovely and the food was great. Would highly recommend!

Frutt Living has a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Kerns. Wonderful place, so hospitable, restaurant is fantastic, would stay again in a heartbeat.
