Located in La Fortuna town, San Bosco Inn offers an outdoor pool and lush gardens, free Wi-Fi in public areas and rooms with garden views. The Arenal Volcano is 5 km away. Super friendly staff. Nice pool, all day free coffee and tea. Entrance to another resort 7km apart with outdoor workout area (incl weights, calisthenics park etc), hot springs and many more pools. Super central but quiet. Breakfast buffet (however mainly costarican food and partially a little greasy) but also daily vegetables and fruit. Amazing price-performance.

Offering outdoor pool and a hot tub, Hotel Roca Negra Del Arenal is located in the suburbs of Fortuna. Free Wi-Fi access is available. We stayed here In February. Our brief stay was like being in Shangri-la, a utopian escape from the world. Hopefully visitors will take the time to just sit and watch and listen. Watch the clouds as they change shape over Arenal, notice and listen to the hummingbirds and other beautiful birds. There is also a small “farm” area with chickens, roosters, ducks and a gorgeous flamingo. Eggs are gathered each morning and left in the self-serve kitchen for breakfast. The kitchen is where you can get your morning coffee, make your own breakfast and meet other guests. There is a supermarket and many restaurants within walking distance if you choose not to drive. We were in #12, one of the beautiful newer casitas. When you arrive the friendly, welcoming staff - either Elizabeth or Eugenia - will greet you, show you where to park and take you on a tour. The property is secured with an electronic gate. There are walking trails on the grounds and clean walkways that lead to all the common areas. Children will love being able to be so close to farm animals. The property encompasses everything I love about Costa Rica…NATURE.

Located 14 km from Arenal Volcano National Park, Lomas del Volcan offers lush gardens, an outdoor pool and a hot tub. Each air-conditioned cabin has free Wi-Fi and flat-screen cable TV. Loved our stay and would definitely return.

Amazing view of the volcano, the gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Managed to see a few animals on the property, e.g. iguana. The room offered lots of privacy. Breakfast buffet had excellent choice. Staff very welcoming on arrival. Great facilities including swimming pools, spa, restaurants. Excellent value for money. Arenal is a great destination too, with so much to do.

This was one of our favourite places to stay in Costa Rica. The breakfast was delicious and so fresh, the family who runs the business were so friendly and kind, and the rooms were so relaxing and comfortable. It is 20 mins from La Fortuna which didn’t both us as it was nice and quiet and we had our own car. The hot tub on the deck was one of our favourite parts to enjoy each evening and the bed was so comfortable. The pictures look outdated as the room was very modern. Also very clean. Highly highly recommend this place!!

Sangregado Lodge er staðsett í Fortuna, 22 km frá La Fortuna-fossinum, og býður upp á gistingu með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, verönd og veitingastað. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated and we had a beautiful view of the volcano. The proximity to the hanging bridges was also great and having 2 breakfast restaurant options was also a nice bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

The hotel has private bungalows set away from one another enough to give the sense of privacy while enjoying natural plantings of trees and flowers all around. The staff were very welcoming, professional and helpful. The breakfast had several tasty options to choose from and access to the juice and coffee machines. The dinner was delicious and Chef Alex presented the dishes to us. The location is close by car/taxi to downtown or to get to the spas, activities and food places. Noah’s rooms are very well accommodating with very comfortable beds, a small refrigerator, coffee machine, and small sitting area. Since we were celebrating a special occasion we splurged for the room with a private hot tub. This was a great option after a long day of exploring.

Hotel Pibi Boreal er staðsett í Alajuela og býður upp á garð. Gististaðurinn er 3,1 km frá Plaza Real Alajuela og Alajuela-dómkirkjunni og miðlægum garði sem er 3,5 km í burtu. The balcony and view was so lovely. It was amazing to wake-up by all that greenery, do some yoga and the breakfast was really good too. It's quite, but also close to a shopping centre and to get to the airport. Best of both worlds!
