Dette hotellet ligger 10 minutters kjøretur fra Vulkan Arenal nasjonalpark og La Fortuna sentrum, og har en stor hage, en solterrasse med basseng, spa-behandlinger og gratis Wi-Fi overalt. The hotel was a "horizontal" complex in that all rooms were at ground level with just two rooms per building and the buildings are scattered throughout the property. As the rooms were on ground floor the view was limited, I guess because of privacy concerns by just stepping out the the door the the Arenal volcano is right in front of you, an amazing view! The breakfast was a well stocked buffet and the a la carte restaurant was also very good. For a less formal atmosphere we tried the excellent Sushi bar at the pool that is open til 10pm. (There is also a pizza place but we didn't try them). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Tours are available at the hotel and we took one to the volcano and another to jungle tour with suspension bridges. Both were good but we preferred the jungle tour. The thermal water hot pool was a great place to relax after hiking and sightseeing. If you have a car and feel a little adventurous the "Rio Celeste" in the Tenorio Volcano National Park is worth the trip. Its about 90mins from the hotel but be aware that the walking trail in the park is about 5 to 6 Km to take in all the viewing points and places can be uneven. To get to the waterfall there are perhaps 200 steps down (and then back up again!)

The proximity to the hanging bridges was also great and having 2 breakfast restaurant options was also a nice bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

Situated in Fortuna, 7.4 km from La Fortuna Waterfall, Noah's Forest Hotel by Tifakara features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The hotel has private bungalows set away from one another enough to give the sense of privacy while enjoying natural plantings of trees and flowers all around. The staff were very welcoming, professional and helpful. The breakfast had several tasty options to choose from and access to the juice and coffee machines. The dinner was delicious and Chef Alex presented the dishes to us. The location is close by car/taxi to downtown or to get to the spas, activities and food places. Noah’s rooms are very well accommodating with very comfortable beds, a small refrigerator, coffee machine, and small sitting area. Since we were celebrating a special occasion we splurged for the room with a private hot tub. This was a great option after a long day of exploring.

The property is 10 km from Zoo Ave. The balcony and view was so lovely. It was amazing to wake-up by all that greenery, do some yoga and the breakfast was really good too. It's quite, but also close to a shopping centre and to get to the airport. Best of both worlds!

Flott løsning med «frokost døgnet rundt», som passer perfekt for folk som skal reise med fly. Mange gode restauranter i nærheten, og et trivelig sentrumsområde med mye mere særpreg enn den nærliggende San Jose. Kommer gjerne tilbake hit, og kunne godt tilbragt et par netter ekstra her, som base for å utforske området :)

Amazing place. Surroundings, landscape, garden, nature, wildlife- fabulous. Takes from 20 to 40 minutes to get to min attractions but it’s definitely worth it as La Fortuna is noisy and highly tourists oriented. Really tranquil place. Restaurant served high starred food, it was delicious.

amazing stay in TRE house. a real unique experience. if you accept certain contacts with the nature (smaller or bigger dead or alive insects) its fantastic to stay IN the jungle. Outdoor showering is a must do experience. great garden and a real jungle trail within the area. wonderful nice and competent staff. special thanks to Anthony and Andres! here you can see many birds and animals (frogs, turtles, kaimans, and the cute gang of white nose coaties…) restaurant serving excellent wood oven pizzas!
