The property is brand new, the staff is incredibly amazing and nice, the whole hotel is stunningly clean. The breakfast varies day to day, they always offer some meat (bacon, sausages etc.), granolas or musli with yoghurt and some fruits (of course you can go for eggs, beans and rice). The rooms are exceptional, the whole atmosphere is just pleasant. The beach is 5mins walk away, and in our opinion, Playa Grande is the most beautiful beach in the area.

Plenty of storage space in the rooms, gorgeous pool area, easy location shirt tuk tuk away from town but the thing that really made it was the lovely staff, everyone is extremely accomodating and happy to help. Special mention to the bartenders Yibran and Fabricio who were excellent. Also the owner Tim was lovely and made sure everyone was well looked after. Thankyou!

Francisco, Andrea and Selva know what great service means. They make you feel so relaxed and really go an extra mile for your comfortable stay. The rooms are full of details and nice decorations. The shower is great. The pool is awesome as well. Breakfast is very good! We loved that they brought fresh coffee and tea every morning to your door. The price for stay is above average but it is worth every penny. If you go with your partner/spouse you will love it. Don't think, just book it.

Beachfront accommodation ito na matatagpuan sa Puerto Viejo. Makikita ang gusali sa layong 40 m mula sa beach, wala pang 1 km mula sa Chiquita Beach. It was my second time when I was at Awa. First time I stayed with my sister. I decided to come back as I had a very good memory of the hotel. This time was also wonderful. Great design and view, vicinity of Punta Uva beach, serene atmosphere where you can easily relax and spend a good time. And also delicious breakfast.

I particularly recommend the safari tents, all wonderful decorated with Italian furniture. A place where I would love to return.

Staying at Umami felt a bit like paradise. The design of the hotel is beautiful, everything was very clean. Privacy wise it's important to know that only the toilet is in a separate room, the shower and sink/vanity are part of the bedroom. The staff was super helpful and attentive. We had a lot of questions regarding tours, transport etc and they patiently helped us with everything. We definitely recommend this place.
