An old flour factory dating from the year 1827 was totally reformed in order to offer the visitor all the amenities and comfort of a modern hotel. The location and pool were incredible. We loved our stay at La Garganta and the food also exceeded expectations.

This rustic hotel is set between the Conde del Guadalhorce and Guadalteba Reservoirs in the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes Park. It offers spacious rooms with scenic forest views and free Wi-Fi. The bed was comfortable. The wifi great. The staff fantastic. The restaurant good. There are two ways to walk to the start of the caminito, choose wisely!

The host was great, the apartment had a beautiful view from the balcony, more than needed amenities in the kitchen, it was very clean.

It's a peaceful and quiet apartment in a friendly, picture-perfect small pueblo town. It was freshly painted and almost everything was brand new. The owner was helpful, although he didn't speak English, we could solve the communication. We enjoyed the calm nights and the fresh chilly mountains-air here.
