This hotel is located on the riverside promenade in the centre of Viveiro, in Galicia's A Mariña region. It offers views of the sea and the old town. Rooms are equipped with free Wi-Fi and an LCD TV. We had a lovely room with views on the river and the walk along the riverside. The room was spotlessly clean, very well illuminated and had all the facilities one needs. The bathroom was also perfect, with good light and a wonderful huge shower. The staff super friendly and helpful. Breakfast as also perfect with fresh orange juice and very good coffee. Location perfect!

Albatros is situated in Puentedeume, less than 1 km from Praia de Sopazos and a 15-minute walk from Magdalena Beach. This is an old property which has been sympathetically renovated. It is scrupulously clean. It has a fridge which is great for chilling drinks before a long walk. Our room had a lovely balcony. The decor is minimal and not at all fussy. The shower is really good. I recommend ordering the breakfast, it is superb and served by one of the partners

A Torre do Lago in Valdoviño features 2-star accommodation with a garden. Among the various facilities are a terrace and a bar. I stayed in the apartment which was great, immaculately clean and well presented. Good Wi-Fi (important to me) and a Smart TV which meant I could access my UK subscriptions (Youtube, Netflix etc.) and be able to watch English-speaking TV in the evenings... The bar which is part of the hotel, is very popular with the locals which is always a good sign. Food available but with limited menu options, I would say great snacks and light bites, but no real dinner offerings due to a lack of kitchen facilities (told to me by the owner). Would I stay again? Absolutely. Had the best night's sleep in ages due to the total black out shutters and good sound-proofing...
