Set right on the lagoon in the heart of Fiji's Coral Coast, Bedarra Beach Inn is surrounded by lush gardens leading to the beachfront and provides a relaxing setting. The staff at the hotel were amazing! Just can’t say enough about them! So friendly and welcoming! Our room had a nice view of the pool snd ocean and was clean, very large and comfortable. Great restaurant and bar at the hotel and lots of good restaurants within walking distance! We especially liked the Beachside Bar and Grill.

Quite honestly, the room is way nicer than my own apartment back home so it was nice to have a touch of luxury while on holidays. The cleanliness was top notch as well. The location is good, only 2-3 mins by taxi into town. Onsite cafe makes great food and excellent coffee. The staff are wonderful, nothing was too much to help me with.. be it figuring out the washer or heavy luggage.

Enjoying a stunning beachfront location, Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa offers an exclusive island retreat. Guests have access to a large lagoon-style pool, day spa and 5 restaurants. The staff at Sofitel were absolutely lovely and seemed genuinely caring. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The Watui Beach Club was lovely. We lucked out with our ocean side room as the trees cleared in front of our balcony and we were able to watch the sunset. I'm not sure if other rooms on this side could do the same. The pool area was very relaxing and we loved the drinks and canapes that came round every day. Being able to spend our 'dinner' budget on snacks and drinks throughout the day was a great way to run things. Having a live band at night created an amazing atmosphere.

Affectionately known as 'The Grand Old Lady' of Suva, the faithfully restored Grand Pacific Hotel was built in 1914. It boasts free WiFi, 5 restaurants, 3 bars, a day spa and a fitness centre. The hotel was superb. From the staff, rooms to the great breakfast.

Set on 5 acres of tropical gardens featuring orchids, The Fiji Orchid offers a restaurant and swimming pool. It features massage facilities and a sun terrace. As we left Auckland and boarded our Fiji Airways flights (which was great by the way) to Fiji they announced over the tannoy "your journey to paradise begins..." and do you know what, they really weren't wrong. The flight was excellent, our flight arrived on time but despite a delay getting through customs, security and luggage pick-up our driver from the hotel, Kesho, was waiting for us. And that's where our experience really began with The Fiji Orchard. We had a very comfortable drive to the hotel, a transfer of about 35 to 40 minutes in the traffic, in a very comfortable and spacious almost new Toyota Land cruiser. What we didn't realise was that the Fiji Orchid was once the holiday home of Raymond Burr, star of Perry Mason and Ironside, programmes from the 1960s & 1970s. Raymond Burr loved orchids just as much as he loved Fiji, hence the name of the hotel and the restaurant, Raymond's. Upon our arrival at the hotel, 4 or 5 members of staff were waiting to greet us. This was really special, including Ledge who checked us in, a really straight forward, relaxing and easy experience. Everyone was so very happy, in fact everyone that we met was so happy. We felt really welcome from the moment that we arrived. We've read reviews from guests who have criticised the welcome and the check-in process, which is ridiculous, it was lovely. Our bags were taken to our bure whilst we finished our welcome drinks, before we were walked to our bure. There are only 6 bures, so a maximum of twelve guests. The bures are well spread out, each one backs onto its own little bit of the rain forest. Our bure was lovely, it was very clean and spacious. The main area is separated into two areas by curtains, the bedroom and lounge with seating. There's a small desk and chair. Lying in bed late at night listening to the rain was so relaxing.

Tanoa Waterfront Hotel is located in Lautoka and is a convenient stopover from Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands. A 25-minute drive from Nadi Airport, it offers a pool and free parking. Great location in Lautoka, only a few minutes from the city. Cleanliness of facility was great. Onsite bar & restaurant was handy on the nights we didn't dine out. Pool was never over crowded & the hotel was quiet for the majority of our stay. Highlight of the hotel are definitely the staff - from the reception staff to the breakfast staff right through to the housekeepers! Everyone was so friendly & accommodating during our seven night stay - it really felt like home away from home. Mosese was a stand out for us - he went above & beyond to make our stay memorable from his friendly smile to his excellent service every night. Tanoa Waterfront will definitely be our choice to stay if we return to Fiji.

The Novotel Suva Lami Bay is located right by the sea and only 15-minutes from Suva CBD. This international hotel offers ocean view rooms and traditional Fijian hospitality. Service was great, very friendly and polite.

From the warm welcome until we left, we appreciated the attentiveness of the staff. Vinaka to Solo who answered our questions as we explored potential options for future conferences. The breakfast was well beyond our expectations! We were treated to a full cooked breakfast, all of which was served very graciously. Very elegant service and we enjoyed the experience as well as the delicious food. The room was comfortable and spacious also.
