Found in Scotland’s Cairngorms National Park, Scandinavian Village in Aviemore offers high-quality accommodation beside these rugged mountains. Quick response from the host. The place is neat, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. We had everything we needed. The washers and tumble dryers at the guest laundry area is a plus. The apartment size is able to accommodate all four of us. The place is walking distance to the town center with many eateries and also a supermarket, Tesco. The apartment has two bathrooms and toilets which cuts down queuing time for our group. There are also a lot of car parking lots.

Dalrachney Lodge is a family-run country house hotel in Carrbridge, in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and is approached via a tree-lined riverside driveway. Dalrachney Lodge is wonderful! Steve and Tracy are very personable and caring hosts. We stayed in the superior king room for one night, and it was truly lovely. The bed was comfortable, the furniture was beautiful, and the bathroom exceeded my expectations. They provided a delectable made-to-order breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend staying here, and look forward to staying with these caring hosts in the future! Steve even gave us recommendations of places to stop along our journey that we wouldn't have known about otherwise. We stopped at the bridge in Carrbridge, House of Bruar and the falls behind it, and Hettie's in Pitlochry and loved all of these recommendations!

Opposite Blair Castle, family-run 19th-century Atholl Arms is full of character, offering log fires, locally sourced food and Wi-Fi. Shopping at the House of Bruar is nearby. Great hotel at a great location. Very easy access to the restaurant and the bothy bar. Great atmosphere, the fire in the fireplaces were crackling when we entered while the autumn wind and showers were kept outside. Very friendly staff.

In Cairngorm National Park, The Boat Country Inn and Restaurant has a restaurant, Wi-Fi access and elegant rooms. Aviemore can be reached in 10 minutes by car. The room was spacious and the location was fantastic. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfectly located for hill walking, climbing, fishing, the Malt Whisky Trail, golf and all winter sports, this independently-owned hotel is found in the heart of Aviemore, in the Cairngorms. Cairngorm Hotel has such character and history. It was an experience staying here. Great staff, restaurant was excellent; loved breakfast. Would definitely return.
