Wonderful modern hotel up the hill from the ferry terminal and fairly close to most businesses. Good onsite restaurant and delicious included breakfast of cereal, bread, cheese, juice, etc. They are very organized and did a great job even though it was very crowded with groups. Set 15 minutes’ walk from the town centre of Ilulissat, HOTEL SØMA Ilulissat has spectacular views of the world famous Ilulissat Icefjord. It had everything you require for a comfortable stay. Staff was reachable, pleasant and prompt.

Located on the UNESCO-listed Ilulissat Icefjord in western Greenland is this 4-star hotel. It provides fine dining and a free shuttle service from Ilulissat Airport, 5 minutes’ drive away. We had a corner jr. suite with a fantastic view of the icebergs in the bay. The sun deck outside from the restaurant was wonderful with rocking chairs and magnificent views (just like our room).
