Fantastic hotel, excellent breakfast and lovely staff, all of this at an advantageous rate. Next to the new port, within walking distance to the small city of Nuup, highly recommended! Hotel SØMA Sisimiut is located just 40 km from the Polar Circle and offers a 24 hr reception and a cafeteria. Sisimiut Harbour is just a 5-minute walk from the property. Welcoming atmosphere, comfortable room and helpful staff. Good breakfast and cafeteria was useful to have cake and coffee in the afternoon sand if you arrive prompt at 5.30 an evening meal at a reasonable price. It was a popular meeting place for local people. Used both their laundry service and spa. They also adjusted our booking when our ferry was delayed. Many thanks to the team. If in that part of tge world again we would definitely stay there.

Great hotel with fantastic views from hotel rooms and restaurant. Spacious, modern and very clean room/bathroom with large panoramic window overlooking Disko Bay and its icebergs. Very friendly & helpful staff. Tour booking company (World of Greenland) on-site. Fantastic breakfast buffet. In-house restaurant serves very good lunch & dinner. Complimentary shuttle to airport and hourly service into town.
