We spent one night in the hotel, but Al Monte is a really good place for staying for several days. Peace and quiet are around you there. A traditional stone house with a fireplace, a good greek breakfast, and a friendly hostess! You should get warm clothes because nights are colder in that region of Greece :)

My room was charmingly decorated with stone walls, wooden floors, and ceilings. The rustic ambiance added a touch of authenticity to my experience. We had fantastic views of the lake from our balcony. It is run by a lovely family who were very friendly and helpful. They provided a fantastic breakfast. We loved that their very cute dog would also take itself for a walk with us! We just wished that we were able to stay longer. The whole place had a very chilled vibe and we loved it.

They gave us directions to places, made suggestions, taught us a lot about the history of the place; they even provided us with fresh vegetables every day for free! The place was impeccably clean, comfortable, fully equipped with anything you would need and well maintained overall. The hosts even had freshly-cut roses from their garden waiting for us when we arrived.
