I had a great time staying here. The dorms are basic but provide everything you need. The food at the restaurant is a bit expensive but really delicious. Overall, the location is very nice and the people very kind. Best shower in whole Guatemala.

We have loved every moment in the hotel Gringo Perdido. Staff was super accommodating. We have arrived.witha late plane to Flores and one staff member (Chepe, who has done everything to make us enjoy our staying) was there to allow us to have dinner, even if the kitchen was already closed. Breakfast was very good and energetic enough for some great walking among the Mayan temples. Estuardo, the owner, welcomed us the morming following our arrival and was great to talk to him. We have enjoyed the peace, the nature, the sense of calmness and balance that El Gringo Perdido spread. I recommend an early wake up to fully appreciate the beauty of the place. We'll be back for sure.

The place is away from the village in a lush greenery and we loved it! Service was super friendly and fast. They even helped us with the transfer to Tikal and back. Our double room was simple but big, with a big terrace with chairs and a hammock to relax and enjoy the greenery / to read etc. Bed was comfortable and had a decent mosquito net. They have a decent menu so we seldom ate breakfast there or had some drinks. The hotel is a walking distance from El Remate so we also walked to visit some restaurants or tienda for some snacks when we wanted to. My favourite thing for sure was the fact it's a little away and in the greenery, little hidden gem. Because it's close to the bioreserve, it was wonderful to hear the sounds of nature and especially have our first experience with howler monkeys howling 🙂 I would recommend it for sure.

The whole experience, right from the greeting to our departure was very positive. The owner and his family were very pleasant and most helpful. The room had a nice balcony area with a good view and comfortable hammock. Everything was spotlessly clean.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Bolontiku Boutique Hotel & Spa is located 15 minutes by boat from Flores Island. Beautiful location and facilities. The rooms were incredible and the staff was always at hand and very welcoming. Had a great time in the pool and in the lake using the water sport equipment. Would definitely stay again!! 😁

Offering a sun terrace with swimming pool, views of the Exequil Lagoon, a heliport and wooden décor, this boutique hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from the Mundo Maya International Airport. I liked everything about this hotel. it’s amazing in every way. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent spa. We enjoyed every minute.

This elegant hotel is located within a tropical estate, on the edge of the Petenchel and Monifata Lagoons. We loved the nature escape to Villa Maya; after a couple of days of being in Panajachel. Mostly soaking up nature, bird life, and howling monkeys. Perfect place to relax! We went on the excursion to Tikal, arranged with the hotel, which was perfectly organized. Highly qualified guide, the most comfortable car we had in Guatemala, beautiful lunch with fresh towels to clean up after the jungle walking, and most of all, the best walk through the Tikal ruins! The guide will take you on secret trails and tell you about birdlife, animal life, + the history of Tikal. Amazing experience! Our highlight in Guatemala. Celebrate with the highly recommended Parilla / barbeque on the restaurant menu! Villa Maya is great value for money and is a very comfortable stay in Guatemala. Also the Best breakfast!
