It was an absolutely lovely wooden cabin. The views of the jungle and mountains from our balcony and the restaurant is something out of this world. Truly breathtaking, especially when you see it first thing in the morning. - All the meals at the restaurant were delicious and well-served. - The staff goes out of their way to pamper you. They saw us get in the pool and immediately brought out two towels without us even asking. - The hotel is very clean and well-maintained.

Istana Balian - Boutique Hotel Resort features a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a bar and shared lounge in Selemadeg. Istana is an excellent and delightful place to stay. Rooms are great and facilities very good. Michael and Komang are excellent hosts. Staff very hospitable and friendly. Food was delicious. Location was excellent with quick easy access to beach and village.

Please note that this property is located in the complex of Tanah Lot Temple. Guests are required to pay IDR 60000 per person per stay at the entrance. Modern European good standard. Walking distance to Tanah Lot.

I've been travelling a lot, but Shanti is probably in the top 5 of my favourite accommodations so far! Most important, the staff is wonderful and so nice. The room is spacious, very comfortable, super clean, the open air shower is a highlight.. Yoga was great, with an incredible view over the corn fields.. it's also possible to join the yoga classes as a beginner which is great - just give it a try :) The restaurant is amazing! I tried to try everything on the menu, didn't have time enough for that though. But everything I ordered was so delicious and also healthy. Location is also perfect. In a little village, away from the buzz of Canggu etc. Surrounded by green fields, also 3min walk to the beautiful beach. The beach has a local vibe and is beautiful. Surfing is possible, 10min scooter drive away. So I highly recommend Shanti, would love to be back. The absolute perfect place to unwind.

Property is totally beautiful, very quiet and safe. Perfect for relaxing time. The staff is lovely and helpful. The property has a nice bar and beautiful pool. A very wonderful place, much better than the pictures, suitable for cables. The location overlooks a river and is far from the city for relaxation and a change of mood. There is a reception girl named Ayo. She is one of the best employees there. She helps with everything you want. The place is literally very wonderful.

It’s small but very cozy and clean. I was surprised that they even have a TV cable with some options (YouTube, etc.). The staff was very helpful and accommodating. They guided us so we can find the place easily. They also had space for car parking. We have found our favorite accomodation in Bedugul!
