The Killeshin Hotel is one mile from Portlaoise and junction 16 off the M7 motorway. It offers a bistro, an indoor pool, hot tub, a gym and free parking. Breakfast was excellent, as was all the staff, well mannered, and so friendly, especially the man on the reception desk, (sorry I forget his name) He has a beard. He has great customer service skills. I believe this is a key element in dealing with the public. Would definitely recommend The KELLISHION HOTEL. Ann.

The Midlands Park Hotel is a luxurious 4-star property located in the centre of Portlaoise and a 5-minute walk from the train and bus station. Lovely hotel, everything was fantastic, room, food, staff etc. Would highly recommend and will be back.

The Maldron Hotel is just off junction 17 of the M7 motorway, only 5 minute’s drive from Portlaoise town centre and O'Moore Park. It boasts a 20-metre pool, free Wi-Fi, free parking and a gym. Fantastic staff! Friendly courteous and superbly efficient. Could not have asked for better service and pleasurable staff

Have good recommendations and had a very clean and nicely furnitured rooms.
