Il Sole Di Ranco is situated in a quiet location on the lakeshore of Lake Maggiore. It features a seasonal outdoor pool, a sauna, and a Turkish bath. Free WiFi is available. The owner of the hotel met us at our car and took the suitcase himself. Also did the same when we left. A gentleman with who I spoke a lot. We discussed the history of the hotel going back to his great grandfather and how he built a lot that still is in operation today. There is an expresso machine over 100 years old where is one of three in the world. The hotel is charming as our room was large and windows on three sides. Quiet and peaceful. The restaurant was lovely, a lot of choices and everything was made in the kitchen. Broad choice of house wines. The breakfast was really good, with lots of choices and everything fresh. They have big gardens and a pool. A very relaxing place. There is a town 4 mins by car (Angera) to walk around and a castle to visit. Highly recommend it.

Everything! The location is just perfect! On the lake. With an open swimming pool and private beach on the lake. Boats transport for visiting the islands just outside the gate. The hotel itself is a beautiful classic atmosphere. With a super kind and friendly reception staff members. We took junior suite for a family of 4, and it's was perfect! Beautiful big room with big double bed and 2 additional sofa beds, comfortable, room big and clean, TV, small mini bar, big wardrobe area. Two small balconies make a very romantic atmosphere. Our room was on the mountain view side, and i loved it. Fresh breeze in the morning and very calm. Big bathroom with separate bath and shower. Heated insidepool , gym, spa, restaurant, underground parking. We loved everything about our stay. Our stay was unforgettable.

Coco Sweet | Family of 4 Complete Kitchenette, with microwave, electric stovetop, utensils, provided also dish soap & sponge. Beds are comfy. Everything is clean. Personnel is accomodating. Ample parking space outside the camp. Toilet and wash sink have hot water! They also provide toilet paper. Stay is perfect. We haven’t been to the restaurant as we cooked for our own food.

The location provides a great viewpoint over Lago Maggiore. The larger accommodation offered was spacious and quiet, with a separate sitting area and a patio. The breakfast was good as they offered scrambled eggs to go along their continental breakfast buffet and fresh fruit juices. The on-site restaurant was excellent and the 10% discount for hotel guests was appreciated. This was a great location for a multi-day stay. We loved it. Locanda Pozzetto had great staff and a very special place - memorable!

We loved having everything we needed within walking distance. There was really no need to leave the property and traveling with three kids, that is a major plus. My children loved the nightly disco and the pool.
