Set in Claviere and with Col Boeuf reachable within 400 metres, Hotel Al Foiron offers a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a bar. This family-run B&B experience was way better than we anticipated. Parking was convenient right on the main street in front of the building. The rooms have been recently renovated and include comfortable mattresses, solid wood furniture, a desk, and extremely hot water in the shower. We had (303) located on the lower floor which included a patio door out to the terrace where we could sunbathe, meditate on the mountain, and take our breakfast and afternoon tea. The owners, Fabrizio & Simon take care of the day-to-day including a complimentary breakfast of coffee and some incredibly tasty cakes and tarts prepared by their mother. There is also a selection of nice cheeses, juices, and cereals to enjoy if you need less sugar first thing in the morning. We extended our stay a couple extra nights awaiting a parcel and stayed in their father's property two doors down with the same view and exceptional familial hospitality. They even extended the check-out for us our last day. We really enjoyed our time here and the warm welcome we received from the host family.

Featuring a shared lounge and a bar, Cantina Alpina is set in Eclause, an hamlet under the municipality of Salbertrand. Cantina Alpina is amazing. It is like a mountain hut with all the luxuries you would not even expect. And the warmth of the staff is so refreshing that it makes you want come back again. The room was cozy and comfy, breakfast very good (attached photo is a view we had from the table), but make sure to order dinner, as it is an experience you must have. We travel quite a bit, but such place is a rare find nowadays, I am really happy to have stayed there. I rarely rate places 10, but this one deserves 11.

Our rooms had an upstairs with two single beds on mezzanine. We could have fit our family of four in one room but this wasn’t clear when booking so had two rooms which was unnecessary.

Dating back to the 18th century, Chalet Chez Nous is in Sauze D'Oulx historic centre, 100 metres from the Jouvenceaux ski lift. The host is amazing. After a few days of staying, we decided to come back here next year just to meet the Nicoletta (the host) again :) She took care of our comfort every day, even spending time and siting with as chatting in the evenings. The place is in the lower part of the town, but you get a free ride to the center if you have booked a dinner there. The place has all You need: super welcoming host, rooms are cleaned every day, a bar in which you can spend evenings with your friends and family, the ski depot and ski lift is just a few meters away. There is a restaurant nearby serving excellent food or You can get a free ride to the center if want to eat there.
