The Nara Visitor Center and Inn is situated in the heart of Nara, just a 3-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple and Naramachi. At the price point, this property cannot be missed. We had a wonderful stay - the rooms are larger than most in Japan. The view of Kofukuji’s pagoda is amazing. The staff however are who make this property exceptional. No task too big or small! Thank you to all the staff who make this hotel wonderful and see you again on our next trip!

You must try Sento, the public available for free to their guest staying there.

Located a five minute walk from ‘Nara Park’ and the main shopping/dining streets, Hotel Asyl Nara is conveniently central. Helpful and friendly staff, nice Onsen and delicious breakfast - all for a very good price! Room was spacious and quiet. A lovely, little shop with local gifts in the lobby. Added bonus was the Saturday night, Golden Week free bar. Family oriented and cozy atmosphere.

I was surprised how close everything was to the hotel, especially for the price. A very short walk and central to everything. The staff were all very friendly and nice and the rooms were spacious with a very large bathtub/shower room. If you drive, they have free parking.

Breakfast was including in our meal the food was amazing, had most things and so fresh! We loved all the facilities onsens, indoor pools and communal facilities. Would recommend it to anyone with children/families wanting to stay somewhere with pools and onsens. The staff at the facility were great and hopeful when ever we had any enquires.
