Great location, with a nice view. Close to starbucks which was great for us haha. Nara Park was also close so wasn't too far to see some dear. The families were great, Staff were amazing and very friendly and explained to us the hotel facilities well. They also have chickens that you can pet.

Ichimaru Ryokan - Vacation STAY 35990v is located in Tenkawa, in the Dorogawa Onsen district. At the hotel, every room is equipped with a desk and a TV. Our hosts were extremely hospitable. Upon hearing that we were heading to a nearby ryokan, our host offered to drive us over for free (and refused the cash we pulled out of our wallets multiple times). The food was amazing as well!

The history of the house, the building, the room, wonderful staff, hospitality and warm welcome and magnificent garden. The breakfast was delicious. The staff recommended very good places for dinner. The hotel itself does not provide everything as one-stop service as another, you have to wander around the town to find the things you are looking for (sometime over your expectation). I was so enjoyed staying there and also the time to talk with the locals (but you may need to have some Japanese communication skill, or even you cannot, I am certainly sure that they will somehow communicate with you with their best). You must try Sento, the public available for free to their guest staying there.
