Situated in Ishigaki Island, 400 metres from Fusaki Beach, Little Mermaid Hotel Ishigakijima features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. It is the cutest hotel. They have sweet little animals to welcome guests inside. The staff is amazing, especially Reika. She went out of her way to make us feel very welcome. The rooms are very much beach style with Japanese amenities including a heated bathroom floor and full size fridge. The beach is a beautiful 5 minute walk away. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower had amazing hot water with great pressure.

Featuring a bar, cottage SOUL MATE is located in Ishigaki Island in the Okinawa region, 500 metres from Fusaki Beach and 2 km from Shanishani Beach. These unique cottages are thoughtfully designed and nicely maintained. Very cozy and quiet. The location is a few minutes walk from Fusaki beach by quiet single-lane roads. You can walk up the hill for views around the island and beautiful sunsets. The ceiling over the bed is glass so you can look at the stars at night. A star shower coincided with my stay and I saw numerous falling stars while laying in bed. Not an experience you are going to get anywhere else. The owner was incredibly thoughtful and kind and made my stay even better. The cottage has more amenities than more expensive places I have stayed.

Real tasty meals - we had breakfast, lunch and dinner there. The real selling point were the staff - they were the most human and humble people we met during our trip to Japan. They make this boutique hotel very special. So friendly and helpful.

Very close to the main beaches and to town, beautiful Japanese-style rooms and king-size bathroom. Very clean and staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Situated in Iriomote, 400 metres from Tsuki-ga-hama Beach, Mayagusuku Resort features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. What an amazing place. The apartment is roomy and very comfortable and has a big balcony with a breathtaking view, over the garden and bay and also the nights sky. It is great to have a couch in the living room to relax and the bathroom is big with a nice shower. The owner is very kind and helpful and knows just enough English to be able to arrange everything you need. There is free snorkeling gear, which we used for Ida beach, and we also did a snorkeling tour with the owner which was great. We got a private tour to some very nice snorkel spots with no other people/boats around. Saw a lot of sea turtles too! The location is great, as said with a gorgeous view. Having a car is recommended though as this makes getting around on Iriomote much easier. Cant recommend this place enough!
