There are a lot of bars and restaurants nearby. The staff was super nice and very helpful. Thanks again to Joey for arranging our late checkout :)

Our weekend at Van der Valk Hotel Groningen-Hoogkerk was simply delightful! From the warm welcome to the thoughtful amenities. The room was spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, providing the perfect retreat after exploring Groningen. Our puppy was overjoyed to find a ball waiting for him in the room—a thoughtful touch that made his tail wag with excitement. The food selection at the hotel's restaurant was broad, and the meals were delicious. The staff were exceptionally attentive, making our stay truly special. Can't wait to return!

Hotel Miss Blanche is a boutique hotel in the centre of Groningen. The hotel offers 46 individually appointed rooms, ranging from comfortable Standard rooms to an exclusive Executive Suite. The staff were terrific with guidebooks, getting the nespresso machine replaced, and in the end, sending along clothing we had accidently left behind to our next destination! The private balcony on the top floor junior suite was an unexpected plus.
