Featuring a garden and lake views, Preikestolen BaseCamp is located 3.7 km from The Pulprit Rock, and is the starting point for the hike towards the mountain plateau. Everything!! Tiny room but more then comfy! Beds oh man beds did not move or squeak at all and they were bunk beds. The total best we met on our travels. We slept thru the night like nothing thanks ear plugs provided. (Really soft ans comfy ones!!)

Situated in central Stavanger, this hotel occupies a great harbour-side location. It offers free Wi-Fi, a complimentary breakfast buffet and stunning views of the Vågen Fjord. The property is right opposite to the port so gives a view of the ships coming in and go. The rooms are not very spacious but clean and the staff were very friendly. So no complains. 3 meals were included and it was great. Lot of restaurants near by. We stayed there so that we could hike to Pulpit Rock and the staff have in all the info.

This waterfront hotel is situated in a Victorian-style building, dating back 1900. Hotel Victoria is less than 10 minutes’ walk from Stavanger Train Station. The staff were extremely friendly. The room was very comfortable, particularly the bed. Breakfast was varied and had a good choice of meats, fish, eggs, cereals, and breads. The homemade jams were particularly delicious.
