Tuddal Høyfjellshotel asub Tuddalis, 12 km kaugusel Gaustatoppenist. Kohapeal on spordikeskus, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja terrass. We loved absolutely everything about this gem of a property: the location in a stunning natural environment, the adorable staff, the unique history and decor of the hotel full of collectible and heirloom furniture and, of course the wonderful dinner. Food certainly was a highlight as this is generally where Norway fails to impress us. We were served a fresh, creative, and delicious dinner in the beautiful dining room overlooking the fjell. The chef even adjusted the menu for the vegetarians among us, creating genuine new dishes for us. Wow! Again, that was unexpected as eating veg in Norway is often a challenge. Everything felt authentic and personal in this independently-run property. Dinner starts with a presentation of the history of the place by the owner, their struggles during Covid and how they overcame them. Charmingly, this introduction included the reading of a poem (sadly we don’t understand Norwegian so had to rely on the translation of the presentation afterwards). Every effort is made to be sustainable : There’s a vegetable garden, the delicious bread is baked on the premisses (we took a box of the amazing Flatbrød with us) and the lovely shop sells some local cheese, honey and other specialties including, this being Norway, sweets :) We are already dreaming of a next stay to the Tuddal Høyfjellshotel to experience more of its magic and of the stunning nature around it as our stay this time was way too short. Note to the owners: stay as you are, you are a genuine gem and the world needs more places like yours. Thank you for everything!

A charming place with spirit (furniture, fireplaces). Located in a beatiful valley, with fantastic cross-country skeeing areas around. Sweeming pool, sauna, training room… Very friendly, helpful and proactive staff.

Tollboden Hotell - Unike Hoteller asub Kragerøs. Kohapeal on aed, ühine puhkeruum, terrass ja restoran. See mittesuitsetajatele mõeldud majutusasutus on 700 meetri kaugusel Gunnarsholmeni rannast. Central location and lovely staff

Lifjellstua asub Lifjellis. Kohapeal on aed, ühine puhkeruum, terrass ja restoran. Baariga majutusasutus asub Bø Summerlandist 10 km kaugusel. Location, simplicity. I would definitely go again and recommend!

Located 180 km from Oslo, 440 km from Gothenburg, in the heart of Telemark you will find Gausta at 1000 m altitude above Rjukan and Vestfjorddalen. Excellent facilities and view!

Originally built in 1894, Dalen Hotel is situated close to the peaceful shores of the Telemark Canal and Lake Bandak. It offers free WiFi internet and free private parking. All the staff from front desk to restaurant were exceptional. Special praise for Joao and Lorenzo . We learned so much about wine and cocktails from them.

Gaustablikk asub Gaustablikkis, 3,4 km kaugusel Gaustatoppenist. Majutusasutusel Gausta View Lodge on aed, tasuta eraparkla, terrass ja restoran. Majutusasutuse juurde saab sõita suuskadel. Comfortable and clean rooms, great support from the staff when needing answers to a couple of questions.

Hotell Henriks asub Skienis, 400 meetri kaugusel Telemark Kanalist. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. See kolmetärnihotell pakub tasuta transporditeenust ja turismiinfot. Everything is clean Staff and owner is really nice.
