The boutique 4-star Hotel do Canal is situated in Horta on Faial Island. It is just 100 metres from the beach and offers panoramic views of Pico Mountain and the bay. Although the building seemed to be older from outside, the rooms and interior was very comfy and cozy. Located right at the esplanade, but very quiet at nights. Stunning view of moutain Pico from our room. We were given a small gift from the staff (fresh fruits, water and pastry), that was very nice. Free garage parking for guests.

Breakfast was wonderful, with an abundance of choices offered. My knees were sore after some hikes and the staff was able to provide ice for me. We also were easily able communicate with the staff.

Linnavaatega Casa Rua Velha asub Hortas, 300 meetri kaugusel Praia da Conceição rannast ja 2,6 km kaugusel Praia do Almoxarife rannast. Praia de Porto Pim on korterhotellist 2,8 km kaugusel. Place was beautiful, hospitality outstanding, full of little attentions: fresh flowers, fruit basket, bottle of wine etc… it is centrally located, you can go anywhere on foot yet it is away from the crowd and very quiet at night. Host was available for any questions. Would recommend in a heart beat!

The place is very close to the city of Horta and also to other interesting places in Faial so the location is optimal for trips around the island.

Largo Bispo Boutique Hostel asub Hortas, 500 meetri kaugusel Praia da Conceição rannast ja 2,6 km kaugusel Praia do Almoxarife rannast. Good location very close to the harbor and 10-15 minutes by car to the airport. You can walk around Horta. Nice staff. Although the breakfast is not included they offer coffee for free. Big rooms with a lot of space, garden, living room and kitchen to share.

We appreciated the warm welcome and easy check in, with keyless building and room access. The rooms look out over the harbor, and the hotel could not be in a nicer spot. Free parking was plentiful, and there is a lot behind the hotel as well. Nereida is perfect for self catering. You have a kitchenette in the room, plus a fully equipped kitchen in the common room. So you can cook a bigger meal in there if you want. It is also close to several good restaurants and a market. We would recommend it to anyone for sure.
