The place was beautifully located in wild nature near a lake. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and made us feel at home. The animals (both monkeys and dogs) added a special feeling to the place as well.

Hennington and his wife are exceptionally kind and gracious hosts, who really take care of you. As you relax in the restaurant, keep an eye out for elephants, warthogs, waterbucks and other wildlife regularly making their way through the grounds of the site. I stayed here because someone I met in a hostel in Kigali told me it was wonderful. And now I'm telling you -- this is where you want to stay.

Located in Bushenyi, Buffalo Safari Lodge features a garden, terrace, shared lounge, and free WiFi. Among the various facilities are a bar and a restaurant. The cottages are very clean and spacious. Together with the pool and sitting area it really is a fantastic place to stay. The staff is super friendly and the food was the best we have had in Uganda.

I have sung with them, danced with them, walked with them, and thoroughly enjoyed the company and the lessons of one of kindest people I have met in my many travels.
