Always a pleasure to go back to the Hyatt Ziva - this time we stayed for longer and what a relaxing amazing time we got. Big thank you to Anderson our butler for looking after us, making sure everyday that we are happy, that our pool bed is prepared every day, following up on our spa bookings and special requirements. Again a big thank you to Anderson for the bottle of champagne and strawberry chocolates you left for us in our room the day before we left - we enjoyed it!!!! A big thank you to Daniel “our waiter” at the pool area for providing our drinks, making sure that we always have water and bring our first drinks in the morning without asking. Thank you for talking to us telling us more about where you from, your family and your dreams and that you are doing this job so safe money to study and to look after your daughter and mother. A big thank you to Lisandra (pool bed inspector) checking on us everyday making sure that we are happy and always nice to chat to her and her appreciation of her beautiful country. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the food was good and you have a lot of variety with the 12 restaurants including 2 buffets, the rooms are beautiful designed and very clean plus you have an awesome sea view. Tortuga Bay Hotel is great! My wife and I flew there from the UK for 10 days at the beginning of February 2024. The staff were absolutely wonderful- everyone was super friendly and spoke pretty good English. As a bonus, guests are allocated an ’Embajadores Team’ who will suggest activities and arrange anything you want. You really feel like a VIP! We went to the Carnival and hired a car for 3 days, driving round the island sight-seeing. We go to the Caribbean every year and we both felt that the exceptional beach villas and whole layout of the estate was one of the best we have ever visited. I loved the addition of a golf cart and bikes to go to restaurants & spa etc. Security is first class and we felt 100% safe at all times. I guess the only downside was the beach- it looks amazing, lots of it but just a little bit rough and sea weedy. But this is more than compensated by the beauty of it, the lack of people (while we were there) and the surprising amount of wildlife- pelicans, herons and all manner of seabirds. Puntacana has what looks like the most amazing golf courses but as neither of us play the game- we missed out on that. In summary, I thoroughly recommend the Tortuga Bay: it’s a beautiful hotel with very high standards and delightfully friendly staff.

It is not like a typical all inclusive hotel since the food is a la carte. I‘ve never had such good food in an all inclusive resort. The resort itself is just beautiful - very clean, chill and directly at the beach. The staff is awesome - they are so friendly and treat you like their favourite guest - every day.
