The room itself was so much nicer than anticipated. Though it was a historic building, it had many upgrades that made us feel like we were living in luxury. We never had issues with our neighbors, and having a parking spot was nice in the middle of the city. Also, the staff was very nice. In initial communications, they seemed almost overbearing (asking when our flight would land, when we were planning on arriving, etc.). On meeting them, however, it was clear that this was just Southern hospitality at its best.

I loved staying at this resort. The rooms were beautiful, and the view from the hotel was spectacular. We enjoyed s'mores by the firepits as well as live music in the evening. It was great to see the kids enjoying the Easter egg hunt. Breakfast and dinner at the Fish House were great. We also enjoyed the water taxi to visit Charleston.

We used this property for our first ever girls trip. I loved the rooms. It was much better than staying in a hotel or resort. After the days of sightseeing in Charleston we were able to go to our room and decompress. It’s located in “North Charleston” but still easy to get to the attractions.

Close to everything along with a beautiful resort that had three amazing pools and so much on site food and entertainment. We lived the water taxi along with the trolley that took us downtown. This will be a place we come back to over and over again.

The location is perfect, but the best part is by far the shuttle service to downtown. It is the main reason I stay there! It’s so convenient!! The resort itself it’s very nice and clean and I recommend it to anyone.

Spaciousness of the room. Cleanliness of the entire property Attentive staff Morning coffee, pastries, fruits and juices on every floor Afternoon cookies Toiletries Location Rooftop pool and bar What a hotel muse to be. Also no hidden surprise charges like resort fees and enhanced Wi-Fi like some of the franchises. A no excuse property putting the guest first.
