The pool was fun to be with I had fun going underwater and counting seconds of how long we stayed underwater the fitness room was fun to lose weight at the gaming room was exciting I get to interact with my best friend on the cell phone and the games were fun!! The whole vacation was fun!!! For the whole family!!!! We definitely will come back in the future.

Facing the beachfront, Resort at Port Ludlow offers 4-star accommodation in Port Ludlow and features a garden, terrace and restaurant. The hotel has a hot tub and a 24-hour front desk. While my husband and I were cycling to the hotel he got a flat tire miles from the property on a very quiet country road. We weren't able to fix the tire ourselves, so we called the hotel to see if they could help us. They arranged for a taxi to come and get us and advised the dining room we would be late for our dinner reservation. The next morning they were also very helpful facilitating a tire repair. Aside from that, the property was lovely, in a beautiful setting, and the food and staff were excellent.

Sun Mountain Lodge is an iconic PNW lodge located in Winthrop, WA. Featuring two restaurants, a Spa, miles of hiking, skiing, and biking trails, an activities center that features seasonal activities... The location is fabulous - breath taking views over the mountains. All staff were very friendly and always attentive. Breakfast was lovely - coffee with an amazing view and the choices on the menu great, out favorite was the salmon/pea puree toast, yummy! We also hit the bar a couple of times and burger, brisket & chicken sandwich were excellent - paired with craft beer on tap. We enjoyed the pool as well as the lake nearby where we did stand up paddling. There are numerous hiking trails leaving right from the resort - again, beautiful scenery, all well marked. The room was a standard size, two comfy beds and a completely remodeled, modern bathroom. We stayed in 322 - nice mountain view yet the view on the other side is even better. Winthrop is an idyllic little town with many eclectic boutiques and good restaurant options - our favorite by far was Jupiter. So all in all - highly recommendable to stay at the lodge. There a number of highly critical reviews and we were honestly rather skeptical when driving up to the lodge. We cannot judge what may have went wrong with others, yet from our experience of staying here for days we can give a clear 5 star rating!l
