Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThe Hotel seemed to have a bit of an odor and unfortunately the Hotel lost power during the night and was still not fixed when we checked out at 7am so it was starting to get a bit warm.
The room was fantastic. Very spacious and had everything you needed. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The buffet breakfast was very good and the location was very convenient to the Dubai Mall.

Czech Republic- kitchen needs more dishes and utensils, ideally also basic things like salt, pepper, rice, paper towels. - cleaning needs to be more standardized (one day we miss a bathroom rag, another day toilet paper, paper tissues were added only once) - noise from the streets due to loose windows - weak internet in public areas - smell in the rooms (mauldy?) which didn't go away despite us having windows open every night. Maybe carpets need to be cleaned, or some room perfume added. - reduce plastic from shampoo, gels and so on. Public area restrooms had a refillable bottles, so why not have them in apartments too? - only 1 elevator out of 3 in operation - guests needs instructions how to get around the hotel (where to find each pool, how to get to and from garage)
Stay: 2 weeks in April Group: 3 adults, one 2 y.o. kid Hotel location: hotel is a huge complex, a landmark, that is easily seen in the distance. It's next to a 3+ lanes, ground and upper level road which never sleeps. Although we lived on the 8th floor we could hear cars very well due to loose windows We heard that 3-bedroom apartments face the garden, so they may be less loud. Hotel is close to Dubai Mall, but be prepared to walk at least 10 minutes and cross 2 roads. Hotel is 20 minutes walk from the metro station. We chose this hotel because it was one of very few which had a garden and pools not located on the roof. Indeed, hotel has a beautiful garden, 3 warm outdoor pools, and a big childerns playground. There was a mid-size and mid-price supermarket right on the corner. Room: we had two bedroom apartments facing Dubai Mall. A/C was excellent, each room had its own modern Honeywell steering unit. 2 rooms had a LCD TV (although not connected to the Internet). There were dozens of electric sockets everywhere. Rooms had big wardrobes. Apartment was bug enough for our group, and could probably easily take 2 more adults. Pool: hotel has 3 pools, all available to us. Each had some unique benefits like shadow of trees, or light music, or very warm water. All were suitable for toddlers. Lifeguards were very helpful and friendly. Free fluffy towels. Yaseer was a very charming guy who always smiled at us and helped us many times with orientation. Dining: we tried breakfast for 80AED and it was totally worth it. I can compare it with European hotels of the same category. - beatiful, quiet garden inside the hotel, where city noise is not heard.

FranceYour child can stay "for free" but it means the child shares bed with you... Then we have to pay an extra charge to actually get a bed for the child. So no the night is not free for the child. But at a reasonnable price, roughly 30$ per night.
Very close to Burj Khalifa. Beautiful hotel and pools. Excellent food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Excellent value for money. I would definitely go back.
