How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We stayed in Sheraton very often and it reminds a lot of memories about our lovely stay there during the intervening years. Our stay this time was as memorable as our last. It is such a lovely place, convenient to all the main attractions in Abu Dhabi and also to great shopping. There is so much history at this place, and the attentive staff were well informed and more than eager to share. There are plenty hotels at every price point available in Abu Dhabi But if you are looking for an unforgettable and unique experience, then the Sheraton hotel is worth considering. The staff is very welcoming and polite. I would like to mention that whenever we visit Sheraton Ms. Amona in reception is greeting us with very warm heart and sweet smile and very polite, she is always ready to help and taking an extra mile for making your stay full of joy and great, I would like to mention Muhammad as well very stylish persona and polite. Thank you for having such great staff! Unfortunately this time our stay was short but we will definitely come back again.

The breakfast buffet is not so good.
7/10 My kid enjoyed the stay. nice receptionist mohamad& neelam. Except the guest operator (i have to call them 5x or more before they answer & in room dining who keeps dropping & canceling my call!

Overall stay was very we enjoy our stay in Sheraton reception was very friendly specially Sajid he help us a lot and offered free lunch on the last day. Sure we will come back. I really recommend to stay in this hotel. Here you can find great Beach, pool, beautiful gum and very good services.

I had a fantastic stay at the Sheraton Abu Dhabi Hotel. The reception staff were welcoming and efficient, ensuring a smooth check-in. They even upgraded my room and provided complimentary breakfast, which I had forgotten to add when booking. Special thanks to Winie, Sajid, and Mohamad for their exceptional service. The gym facilities are modern and well-maintained. The B Lounge provided a great atmosphere and excellent service. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious, with a wide variety of options and attentive staff. The room had a small balcony, which was a bit inconvenient, and the beach was not quite what I expected. However, overall, it was a nice stay. Highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional staff and amenities.
