Extremely noisy at all hours of the night. Staff was nowhere to be found at any point during day or night. Food was taken from fridge but cameras in building couldn’t pick up who had taken it (isn’t that the point of cameras?).

Location was great. Property upgraded my room to a double free of charge. Friendly staff.

Deposit of $100 for the key is way too high and not an effective way of doing it, gets returned after the stay but due to exchange rate i lost 10%.

Showers were small and only a mist came out which also wet the whole bathroom floor. Note that they required a $100 deposit for an extra set of keys.

Great location, reasonably clean, nice balcony area and lovely people - great stay for students. Lots of specific rules and fees but for the price we didn’t mind. Spacious kitchen and facilities (cleanliness dependent on who's staying at the time).

Bit annoying that we couldn’t check into our room until about 40 minutes after checkin time - we were super jet lagged so the wait wasn’t great for us but probably fine in most cases. There is a $3 charge for toilet roll - probably reasonable for the long term guests to buy their own, but was annoying that we had to buy a pack of rolls when we were only staying for a few days. After we checked in I didn’t see a member of staff for the rest of our stay - we didn’t have any problems but in case you did need to speak to someone it may be difficult. Although we were there over the festive period so I think this may be different the rest of the time!

Location was great, really easy to get everywhere and close to the free tram zone!

It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room because you have to go down several flights of stairs to the kitchen to make a hot drink. Also it would have been good to know before we arrived that toilet paper and bath mats are not supplied. The kitchen is old and a bit tired looking but it was usually clean, although the microwave was quite dirty when I used it.

Good location in quiet street. Friendly staff. Simple accommodation with comfortable and warm beds. We had a room with two single beds. Happy surprise to find our "shared bathroom" was actually an ensuite bathroom attached to the room just for us. We thought we would be sharing a bathroom with other rooms, it wasn't explained clearly in the booking advertisement, but it was a great surprise. The shared kitchen was usually clean and organised and everyone gets their own utensils, plates and cups

The staff could have been slightly nicer, unfortunately, an incident happened while checking out and the male staff was quite brash and unempathetic to my situation.

The place was relatively pleasant, the other residents were very nice and welcoming. The location is slightly uncomfortable due to lack of lamposts, which was still alright considering it is quite close to the CBD.

The Property being a bed and breakfast has too many rules, I was visiting for Leisure and I always had to remind myself of all these kitchen and hostel type rules just so the very strict and unfriendly owner does not get rubbed up the wrong way. Not exactly my idea of a relaxing stay, but I guess I got what I paid for.

Excellent location, away from the main road so the Property is quiet.

No air con for hot days but we did get a fan. Not a lot of information for travellers in the form of leaflets etc. Quite a small hostel with a number of students staying there made it a different vibe to other hostels.

Friendly helpful staff, good kitchen facilities and food storage space inc. fridge. Comfortable beds and desks and wardrobe in the room. WiFi was more usable.than the reviews suggested, not perfect but worked ok.

it’s not very convenient for public transport. (basically going to everywhere takes 20mins more, because the tram station it closes to it’s not the major one)
