Bathroom sink got cloged as soon as i arrived - took them 3 hours to send somneone to fix it - shower water was leaking out the back of the head - there was a touch screen device next to the aircon, the sceen stayed on the whole night - worst overall experience ive had to date with a hotel - and no parking.

Plugs didn't fit either kitchen or bathroom sinks. No microwave bowls. No blanket. No broom or dust pan and brush. No where in bathroom to put anything. No where to hang a towel or anything else. Broken hanger on door.

No warning that there was no reception. It is all done by codes. I don’t like clicking on links in SMS due to scams but was forced to do this to get the codes. I don’t know why they wanted a photo of my ID. I don’t know how securely this information is stored. Totally unnecessary just for a nights accommodation. Room was a bit small. Also no blankets (only a sheet) so I had to use the reverse cycle air conditioner for heating. Some milk would have been handy for making tea and coffee.

The location suited my needs. It was good value and close to shops, cafes and restaurants. Room was clean and there were facilities to make tea and coffee but no milk which was a disappointment.

My party was relocated to azzuro apartments Jesmond. The location was unpleasant, the front door of the apartments was smashed by hooligans during the night.

Really noisy as you can hear the laundry machine going as well as people in the hallway and the band next door playing to half the night.,L had driven from Brisbane then to Melbourne the next day with very little sleep.

It had everything and clean with good Air conditioning.

You can't actually check in directly. You need a code via message or email from a third party hotel before you get there. Might be a new thing but have never come across it before and was confusing and frustrating. I booked in on a Friday night, My mistake it's a Pub with loud music until close so if you need sleep don't stay here. Lots of steps, didn't see a disability access so check if needed

The Mark Hotel itself is good. It's a clean, stylish & modern pub/hotel and in good location in Newcastle, Short stroll down to Lambton cafes.I chose the Double bed option with private ensuite but even shared bathrooms looked modern, spacious and clean. Close to John Hunter Hospital if stay is for health reasons. Room was good size and overall good value for money. Recommend for a couple of nights

Close to John Hunter hospital - partner birthing baby. Quiet part of town and was comfortable leaving my car kerbside.

The bed sheets felt like they hadn’t been washed, there was dirt, fluff and stains on bottom and top sheet. The fridge had quite a strong smell in it like off food, the floor of the studio was noticeably sticky, dirty and had visible stains under kitchen bench.
