Another circumstance in life where businesses are converting to a "Self Serve" facility! Self check in and Self check out. Great! This hotel is obviously hell bent on cutting cost with no milk in the room nor did it have a TV remote ( had to ask for that). If you want a basic service, this is your place.

Used to stay there when it had a different name a few times and loved my stays but this time , first time after name changed, I'm a bit disappointed as the room was not very clean. Absolutely unexpected as the place was meticulous every prior stay. Stains on bedsheets, haur and stains on bathroom floor, mold in shower, ripped and sained carpet. Just very run down room overall.

The hotel rooms felt old and carpets looked like they haven’t been cleaned in years. The hall way on level 3 smelt like marajuana.

The lobby and restaurant looked really nice like it has been renovated. I wish the rooms matches this vibe.

The floor I stated in had a strong musty smell in the corridor. The toilet button kept getting stuck. The soap dispenser in the shower did not work

Beds, was not advised of gold out sofa when requested a family room. The smell in the corridor on the floors was very stale/mouldy smelling.

Quite disappointed about the bathroom, there is even no lid for the toliet :(((( can only hang cloth at the back of the door. There is no separate bath and shower, so the whole bathroom is will be really wet after showers. The bathroom group is also quite dusty when we check-in, not comfortable to shower without slippers. This situation is also not reflected very well on booking photos. Without the bathroom I will give a 10 star, but considering the bathroom the max I can give it 7.

The receptionist was super nice and friendly. The hotel has abundant parking and nicely maintained garden, and very good plus easy to play with air conditioner (believe me this is a live saver in Aussie summer). The room itself is really clean except from the bathroom that I will mention in the next section.

Self check in is abit clunky - perhaps I like an old school touch. My first room the airconditioning wasn’t working, rang reception and within 30 minutes was moved to another room with working airconditioning without any more issues.

Great location with easy access to local shopping centre. Main road frontage also made travelling to and from the hotel a breeze

The extra bed wasn't set up when we arrived and there were no towels etc for our child. Also pillows were WAY too soft. Maybe a soft and a firm option since there were two each anyway...

Great location for catching public transport & shopping as it is right near Garden City Westfield shopping centre. Staff are friendly & helpful & room was clean. Reception open 24 hours which is nice.

Self checkin feels very impersonal and is time-consuming. You have to enter details submitted when booking, so it's rather inefficient. Was very overpriced.

It was in a location that suited our needs and was only 700m to the bus station at Upper Mount Gravatt. The bed was also comfortable.

The air conditioning system failed to keep up with the very hot weekend, which was very disappointing. I was offered to change rooms on my second day, but I didn't. I was supplied a pedestal fan to help circulate the air, which did help.

I was very happy with the Hotel, staff & location & plenty of room in the carpark, even though it is outside in the weather. It was nice that reception was open 24 hours.
