The air-conditioning is a bit noisy.

Beautiful location. Very friendly, English speaking staff. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The rooms are a little old fashioned but the beds are comfortable and everything is immaculate clean. On the advice of the hotel receptionist, we booked a speedboat for an island trip. We were picked up on the river right at the hotel and came back 5h later from a wonderful trip.

We upgraded our room last minute but the room looked a lot bigger in pictures than in reality. Probably not worth paying for an upgrade.

The cobbled walkways might be a problem for those with mobility issues and certainly we're a pain for wheeled suitcases. The games area ( specifically the pool table) needs a set of cues and balls so this excellent area could be fully used

Close to historic center Great Riverside view set in beautiful well kept flowered gardens. There was even a well hidden kids play area. Nice pool too. Excellent breakfast plenty of choices, well stocked.

The air conditioner is one unit built in the wall (as opposed to split units) and it’s very noisy, inefficient and basic. That is the only thing that would make me think of choosing another place next time. But the rest is fabulous. The staff in hotel wasn’t overly friendly but they were polite and did their jobs well. Maybe it’s because of the language barrier?

We had a deluxe room which was very clean, well finished and comfortable beds. The bathroom was nice and shower very good. The pool has nice views, one of the best in Paraty. The breakfast was delicious and very good quality, big variety. The walk from historic centre is not long either. One of the best pousadas in Paraty in that price range.

It has a very traditional and loud AC unit but it did work well so can’t complain too much.

Lovely guesthouse, in the very proximity of the old centre and at the same time near the river, amazing views. I have particularly enjoyed all the plants, everything was green and we had a superb window view. Breakfast is nice and the restaurant has great views as well, you can also eat by the pool which is also a plus. All in all I feel like the price was fair for the complex and services, would definitely choose it again.

Loved the location, the cleanliness, the fresh smell of clean linens and room, also the yard smells like flowers and love the breakfast there. The staff was super friendly and next time I come to Paraty I will be staying here again!

Very cute and charming Pousada! We had a little problem with our room, a mistake done by booking but the staff was able to solve it and even gave us a courtesy caipirinha! Breakfast was delicious and super fresh, couldn’t be more happy! The view to the river and the colors of the place are really impressive!

Lovely place on the side of the river, nice to relax and read a book. Good breakfast Staff were helpful 10 minute walk to the historic centre yet very quiet so you can have a nice sleep Boat collected us at the pousada by the river one day to go on a trip

Good breakfast spread but a bit repetitive. Emphasis on sweets (50% of spread) and not that great for vegetarians. However the staff were always accommodating.

The toilet doesn't work well. Clogged and didn't wash off. I was shocked. Actually it was my fault, because I’ve thrown toilet paper into the toilet, but there was no sign, no warning ⛔️😕
