A little outdated and old, squeaky doors to rooms. Agreed with receptionist for a taxi to pick me up at a set location and time, yet the taxi never came.

Location is perfect. The sea view is as good as it gets.

We didn’t like the renovations with the white net blocking our full view of Copacabana beach from our balcony and also the noise. Skylab Restaurant & pool not available.

Excellent champagne breakfast in temporary Skylab Restaurant -Beautiful views of Copacabana Beach.Staff were very pleasant plenty of table service.

Rooms are dated, lots of construction going on, no access to rooftop. At time of booking I was unaware the hotel was doing construction to make a rooftop beach club

The rooftop is closed. This is my second time at the hotel, and I had found memories from the rooftop pool. I feel like there are not enough warnings about this. It doesn't help that the elevators are filled with pictures from the rooftop, reminding you of what you are missing. Also, to open my room, I had to swipe the card around 4 or 5 times until it finally unlocked the door. The elevator needs maintenance. One of the call button from the 19th floor doesn't work; In some elevators, only the right panel has the 0 button (ground floor) working, causing confusion. I think the left side of the hotel is also being reformed, so there was a net that blocked my view to the sugarloaf if I turned my phone to the left side of the balcony (thanks to Beatriz, I changed my room without problems).

location: The location is fabulous, having the main touristic attractions (Christ and Sugarloaf) in a 20 mins uber ride. Also, Copacabana beach is in front of the hotel, which is great. Breakfast: Very good as well, with plenty of food to choose, and good quality fruits. Room: The view is amazing (we booked the seafront), the bed is really big (even the family room with two beds). Staff: Beatriz is an angel. She helped with every problem we had (some could have been avoided, but it is the hotel management fault, not hers). Wanderson was OK as well, quite friendly. Beach Service: Mauricio is a very kind guy that helped us set in the beach. He was quite friendly, so we asked him to take some pictures of us.

Even though we were in the floor 27 we could hear everything what was happening down in the street, as the rooms are not soundproof at all. Some small insects were coming out the drain in the bathroom and in the morning the shower was cold. Also, air condition was not working very well and was smelly (it’s centralized) The pool and the rooftop were closed, but we were informed about this in advance.

It’s located in a fantastic place and the views from the room were breathtaking. Also the personal from the beach is amazing. The redhead girl receiving us at the breakfast was very nice! Nice breakfast and staff was nice!

The hotel has definitely been in better shape, it would need some renovations. Though most staff members were very welcoming and eager to help the staff at the restaurant and the pool was exceptional bad, not to mention very rude!

The location of the hotel is fantastic, we had a Junior suite and our own indoor terrace oceanfront. That really made our stay! The breakfast in the lounge on the 30th floor was fantastic, not a big fan of the coffee though.

A lot of guardians who was checking entries. Safety is issue in Rio and can be a bit annoying to follow all rules.

Location was next to beach. Very close to Copacabana beach. Room was clean and stuff friendly. Breakfast was also good. Recommendation for this Hotel.

We found 2 little cockroaches in the room, something that I never experienced in a hotel room of this category before
