Check-in was an absolute disaster. First, 3pm is really late for check-in. We arrived at 2pm and 3 (!) receptionists told us that we can´t check in, even the administrative part without accessing the room. Told us to come back at 3pm. At 3pm there was a line of 20 people and check-in took us 1h. Terrible start! Completely inefficient. Receptionists have nothing to do for hours and then can´t handle the crowd when everyone wants to check in at 3pm.

Great location, directly at Barra´s beach. Reasonable breakfast, although not great. Pool is nice but overcrowded.

Parking charged extra, breakfast dull. The room has seen better days in special the bathroom. Air condition control didn't work properly, one either freezes or turns it off, what is a bad idea on a very hot day. The building is located on the beach, but our view was to the balcony of thr other rooms

This place does exactly what you expect. But it could be so much better with increase in service and attention. Check in took ages. True it was carnaval but full capacity should not mean less service. The room was spacious but there was black mould in the bathroom (extractor fan not working, which made it feel dirty. and only the main surfaces cleaned. The clean towels smelt damp. Breakfast was only ok. They are towels police, you need a token and your name and apartment and they are so strict. It makes you feel like they don’t trust you (I understand people take beach towels but this is a large hotel group. The pool was lovely, but crowded.

Housekeeping is made by a third party and it simply does not work . Front desk personnel is insufficient for so may guests during Brazilian holidays : long and slow lines for checking in and out. Only 2 beach chairs per apartment, when we were in 3 people and payed for 3. Lots of furniture and pumping maintenance to do at the apartment

They don’t bother for the disturbance to the guest while carry out repairing / renovation works in the hotel. They just make to much of drilling and breaking works jus adjoining to my room from 8 o’clock in the morning disturbing my sleep too much moreover they continued till 4 pm and I couldn’t even do the work in the room and I have to forcefully came down and have to sit in Hotel lobby area. It’s was annoying too much that after complaining to all in reception and to the manager they didn’t bother to stop the work, which was really very very bad experience for me.

The toilet stop working, and maintenance took too long to get up to the room and fix it. They only enter the room if we are in the room, the problem was that it took too long for them to go up and we decided to tour the city instead of waiting any longer. There where no internet connect in the room, the TV always froze and lost connection due to the bad/ none existing wifi conection. other than that, was fine.

We stayed 5 days and the bottle of shampoo and conditioner were soo small and never replaced even when they cleaned the room, the wifi was almost non functional the entire time. They should have at least glasses in the little kitchen area.

The rooms could be update, the property - other than the lobby - appeared dated. The bed should have a cover sheet and the bathroom was univiting.

The staff was moslty friendly. The view from the room was nice. Breakfast had a lot of options. The pool area was fairly comfortsble and not oveecrowded.

The service at the reception is extremely slow and in general if you need something-> Good luck. It took me >1weeks after several calls to get an invoice after my stay, because at the check out there was a system problem. Marcos and Artur who picked up the phone call from the hotel were super unprofessional and not supportive at all, the only person who helped me was Danielle (she understands customer service)

Considering we paid USD 112 per room per day, great value, breakfast far superior than your average Holiday Inn. 1 - spotty wi-fi 2 - toilet back up it took 4 phone calls to fix 3 - in one of the rooms the ac never worked because we weren’t going to wait in the room for them to fix. Bizarrely enough they do room service without you in the room. 4 - booking said parking included in price, hotel said no, so extra 100 dollars we had to spend. 5 - freezing restaurant hall. The food was phenomenal, the coffee was horrendous. 6 - stupid bracelet they make you wear inside the hotel…. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Location, staff (Damião and Carlos very helpful) and breakfast. They always had a type of fruit salad, sweet pastries and good bread. I thought it was pretty phenomenal.

The check-in process is a nightmare. The lack of information and the time it takes really lets us down and is annoying every time. The facilites are all a bit runned down - rooms need renovation, pool wasn't heated as it should be, jacuzzi was of service and one of the saunas on maintenance. Power outlets on the room still under the former standard.

Location is the most important aspect of this hotel, price is quite reasonable too and the beach service (chairs and sunshade) works really fine and conveniently. The gym is awesome.

The hotel is in need of refurbishment. There was pealing paintwork and battered woodwork in many places. Our bathroom was very dark and dated with cracked tiles. There was only 1 chair on the balcony although it was a double room. The microwave oven was placed on a work surface that had a raised lip so it was impossible to open the door wide enough to get items in to heat up. There were no instructions for how to use the coffee machine, how to access channels on the TV and how to change the language on Netflix. There was no signage to show how to access the pool area.

The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and there was a great view from the balcony. staff members were helpful. There was a reasonable amount of food items to choose from at breakfast.

The room cleanliness whas poor, thw room had a lot of mould spots. The toilet seat was broken and we couldn't flush very properly.

I liked the pool area, the location, the beach in front of the hotel, and the beach chairs e towels provided by the hotel
