“Hotel located pretty much at end of road so not much traffic, pretty quiet and secluded. The staff are very attentive and welcoming. Had some fun & engaging conversations with the owner, Roger, who is very knowledgeable of local offerings and history. Easy/short drive to Cudillero or Salinas for dinner, although very much enjoyed dinner (carpaccio de bacalao) at the hotel on one of the nights. Prepaid for breakfast, great variety; especially enjoyed the arroz on leche, yogurt, and café con leche.”
“Very friendly staff. Great room (an upgrade provided at no extra cost because of maintenance work on my chosen room) and an excellent breakfast. Good location as well.”
“The host was wonderful and welcoming. Very convenient location for us Just off from the Camino, main square with restaurants/bars and Albergue. The apartment was well equipped, comfortable and clean and most importantly had a washing machine and drying rack/outside clothes line in the garden area so we could clean our day's walking clothes. If you have breakfast included you are supplied pastries/croissants and milk/ground coffee and chocolate - just right. This is a great alternative to and I would say a better choice than staying at the nearby Albergue where you cannot book.”
“The building is made with very good and high quality materials. Nevertheless it's heavily stuffed with weird things. Plastic flowers, a lot of tables..... Breakfast was good, the people are very kind and helpful. We had a room with terrace, but without view. It would be nice if they did some gardening and kindly would put a little bit of splendor to all the beautiful plants they already have.”
“A very special place with a historical legacy, surrounded by beautiful garden. Breakfast was very nicely prepared and the personnel is incredibly kind and welcoming. We felt very special there.”
“Quiet location on the edge of the village just above the beach. Lovely walking path through the woods down to the beautiful beach. Friendly and helpful staff! The family suite was great and nicely furnished. And the hotel has its own large garden.”
“A great place - away from the town, quiet, peaceful, nature, close to the wonderful seaside. The room and bathroom are spacious and clean. The host is very hospitable and caring. The dinner was incredibly delicious, as was the wine. I am very grateful for the hospitality and good rest.”
“We had a very relaxing, comfortable two weeks in the property. Our host Eduardo was exceptional, welcoming and attentive. We had everything we needed and lots of extras that we did not expect. The property is in a sleepy village on the pilgrims trail. The local village provided a few bars and two supermarkets as well as a couple of small shops. We could walk ( although via a steep hill) to a picturesque beach. Al in all a perfect place, we would highly recommend it.”
