Super spacious, exceptionally well equipped apartment. ( 2 bed). Well located near Atocha Station, opposite a lovely, traditional Spanish market. Easy walk ( 25 mins) to Plaza Mayor and the centre. Close to a metro station too.

in the room we stayed in... it smelled very bad from the sewage 

a successful stay.. good location, close to Palos de la Frontera metro.. good cleanliness. Breakfast and very good service at the nearby El Roble restaurant. I recommend with confidence

The WiFi didn’t work, but since we had mobile hotspots, we didn’t bother asking the hosts to fix it. And if You have the cupons for breakfast - two of the nicest places didn’t work on Monday morning.

Nice, clean, coasy apartament with all the basic needs. Also the bonus gym and breakfast spots were nice.

We didn't notice that there was a bunk bed. The walls can use a little touch-up.

Great location in the heart of Madrid, not far away from Metro stations, in a very nice neighborhood, and close to the train station. They gave lots of attention to detail - including an "Insta" camera and a Yoga mattress.

The communication with manager was not good. Took three days to change the date of departure and I got an answer a day too late after I asked three days before if I could check in earlier.Also we had problems with hot water for the 5 of us. So we had to showers at diferents hours of the day.

Location is great, next to a big market and restsurants, Apartments is very big and it was very clean.

we didn’t have a balcony, just a window. this is not a tourist part of town so you’ll do some walking to get to sights

The water in the shower got cold pretty fast. We were just 2 people and both took pretty quick showers, but still, the second person almost had no hot water. However, it had so many pluses, that it wasn't that important to us.

This place has a nice location, close to the center and has everything you need. Very silent rooms and very well equipped. Loved the detail with the vintage camera.

Facing difficulty to sleep on 2nd night as there were some nuisance sounds from either higher floor or adjacent unit. Prompt response from host to address the issue.

Very thoughtful arrangement to make the guest feel like home. Quick response from host upon feedback.

No complaints - we thought the bathroom a bit cramped, mainly because of a full size washing machine - we didn't need it, but there might be some travellers who do.

Location excellent, 20 minutes walk from Atocha station, apartment on a busy main road, but well insulated from noise, a quiet building. All necessary facilities - my wife was particularly pleased with the yoga mat supplied. Several extremely fine bars/restaurants just around the block, metro station ten minutes walk. An excellent food market across the road. All contact with Bob W was made via email and Whats App, and any queries were answered promptly and sympathetically.

On the second day there was an unpleasant smell in our room. It almost smelled like cat urine. We couldn’t pin-point where it was coming from, but it was most noticeable near the bed. It wasn’t too big of a deal for us since we were only there two nights, and it helped to have the windows open. Also as other reviews have mentioned, the hot water does run out fast. Again this wasn’t a big deal for us since we were only there a short time. Overall we had a great stay and would stay there again!

Proximity to the metro & train station, walkable to many restaurants, easy check-in, ability to request early check-in and a late check-out. It was very nice having a washing machine in our unit, along with a drying rack. The lockers were also nice to have access to!

Our only comment is that there was not enough hot water for the 3 of us staying in the room, but we were even offered to take a shower in a different room.

It was a great stay, an excellent room with a good kitchen and great facilities. Very clean, organized, there was a good space for the family. We loved it !

We arrived during a very wet few days over Easter, which meant we spent more time in the apartment than we would normally, so found sitting on the dining chairs a little uncomfortable after a while. There was also very little wall hanging space, not even for our bath robes which were very big and took up space, as we kept having to move them from the bed to the chairs. There wasn’t anywhere to put our suitcases other than on the floor, despite there being space to do that. Easily fixable though. Had we realised before booking, we would have asked for a room with a Juliette balcony (we thought that was standard) as our room didn’t have one, so it felt dark in the room without a view with only one small window.

A nice sized and uncluttered modern style apartment. Very clean, with spacious shower room, a useful kitchenette and comfortable large bed. We were welcomed with a handwritten note and nice quality tea, coffee, biscuits and wine, plus other added touches including yoga mats and bath robes. We really liked the location, being away from the busy city area but a short walk to buses and metro station, which are excellent and cheap. There is a very nice market and Mercadona across the road. For the breakfast option, there’s a choice of three local cafes with very different styles, although because we stayed during the easter period some weren’t open. We loved Julia's cafe when it was open, but it was extremely busy because of Easter. Our room was on the fifth floor, but there is a very good lift. They also have an excellent facility for leaving luggage after check out too. Would happily recommend, and would stay again if visiting Madrid.

The problem for us was the noise from neighbors: the building is old (renovated) and without carpets, so we hear neighbors' steps all of the time. There was a problem with the metallic blinds: it was challenging to close them, and one of them made a nose in the wind when it was open.

The property is situated in a good location: 30 minutes by foot to most destinations in the center. It's very clean, large and well equipped with a kitchen and even a washing machine.
