The location, accommodation, and host were all wonderful. The apartment has everything you could need, and Eric is so very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and chateaux to visit for wine tastings/tours. He will even assist with reservations if openings are available. Saint-Emilion is beautiful and the windows in the bedroom and living area have a beautiful view of the city center. The cave below the apartment is a fun place to enjoy a tasting or a bottle of wine. I cannot say enough about this listing, we really enjoyed our stay and could have happily stayed a few more days.

A great location. Very comfortable especially the bedding. Eric was a terrific and engaging host. It came with the added bonus of a genuine grotto beneath the house. Parking available very close by. Highly recommended.

We loved Eric's place, the attention to detail is fantastic. He took the time to communicate with us and help book activities (we recommend booking early). 12 Rue des Ecoles is a beautiful house, the interior is very stylish, and of course, the underground wine tasting cave was one of the highlights. We really appreciated all the comforts offered and only wished the place was available for more nights. We can't wait to come back. Thank you, Eric!

The air-con was a little noisy at times. Otherwise, not really anything.

Spotlessly clean, fitted out to a high standard throughout including bathrooms. Convenient location and good car parking nearby. Excellent and very helpful host. The wine cave and wine specially dedicated to the property available to buy.

Absolutely loved our stay, everything about it was fantastic. The house was excellent, and very clean. It was in a very convenient and peaceful location with lovely views. We really enjoyed the cave! Eric was a brilliant host and was very helpful, we particularly appreciated his help with booking taxis.

Our stay in Saint-Emilion was an absolute delight! Eric, our host, made communication easy even before the trip. The house is charming and cozy, with meticulous attention to detail. We felt warmly welcomed, and Eric's passion for the town was evident. The thoughtful amenities like water, coffee, homemade marmalade, and biscuits were a lovely touch. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. We highly recommend this unique and unforgettable experience.

The place was absolutely stunning and perfect for a stay in St Emilion! Eric was such a gracious host who ended up meeting us at the train station upon our arrival. The apartment was also in a central location so we did not need a car or public transportation. He then helped us schedule tours at nearby vineyards and made recommendations for restaurants. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway in St Emilion!

Everything: Eric, the host, is by far the best I have ever encountered in my years of travel rentals. Even prior to our meeting, Eric was helpful and responsive. He even met us at the train station upon arrival and brought us to his beautiful apartment—- right out of the pages of an architecture magazine. This is a restoration of love and care and the decor reflects this. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms beautiful.

Eric did everything to help make our stay perfect! He got us a dinner reservation when the city was fully booked, made recommendations for winery visits and provided his lovely apartment in a beautiful city! Perfect!

The only slight downside is the living space is small (only one couch and a small table).

We had an amazing experience here. Host was exceptionally friendly, showing us all the property and the area had to offer, and even booking restaurants for us. The house has been renovated beautifully and is very cool, absolutely exceeded our expectations! Location is also perfect.
