Some might not like lugging suitcases up two flights of stairs but we thought it was worth it for the balcony. Comfortable chairs, a small table, great views of the castle and a sense of life on the Rue Trivalle.

The balcony doesn’t catch the sun so it was a most pleasant place to sit in either the morning or afternoon. The bedroom windows opened wide to allow a through breeze.

The entranceway gave a poor first impression but on entering the apartment that was perfectly acceptable. The entranceway is a shared access so may be beyond the control of the owner.

Location, convenient for the old city. The property was spacious and had all of the basics. Communication with the owner Bruno was excellent.

Absolutely fantastic apartment- we really loved it. Superb balcony with outstanding views. Excellent location, comfortable beds, great hot shower, welcoming host, relaxing atmosphere. Would very highly recommend. Great cooking facilities and enormous fridge/freezer.

Perfect location looking up to the old city from the balcony/verandah. Modern. The owner Bruno met me at the property, explained everything. Gave me tips on what to see. He even picked me up and drove me to the train station on the day I checked out. Absolute Gentleman.

Wonderful 3rd floor apartment with balcony and views to the Medieval City. Two large and comfortable bedrooms, one with a sofa as well. Super clean bathroom and toilet. Open plan sitting room, dining and kitchen area. Very well equipped kitchen with microwave, oven/hob, dishwasher, coffee machine. A few minutes walk to the Medieval City and 15 minutes walk to the old town. Excellent range of restaurants and supermarkets in close vicinity.

Super place to stay, easy to get everywhere, everything you need, clean and comfy. The balcony and the view are amazing and so nice to sit at in the evening and chill! Bruno is brilliant and saved the day for us as we left!

Amazing view of the walls, especially when lit up at night! The host was very welcoming and helpful, with lots of local information. It is a short walk to the castle entrance. The property is lovely, with modern facilities.

EVERYTHING!! What a fabulous apartment!! We couldn't believe how lucky we were to find it! The view from the balcony of the old city was magical, especially when lit up at night. The living/ kitchen diner was light and very comfortable. The beds were comfy, and the shower was excellent . It was so convenient for everything. The Medieval City was just a few minutes walk away, the town centre and the Canal du Midi just a short stroll away. Plenty of restaurants on the street. Bruno was an excellent host who kept us informed and advised us of places to see. Parking was easy, plenty of free spaces on the street right outside the apartment. We hope to return again next year.

Beautiful apartment with the most spectacular view of the Medieval Castle. It is spacious, modern, very well equipped with comfortable beds and was spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much trouble for the host, Bruno, who was very helpful and communicated well throughout. Merci Bruno - we will definitely be back!

The appartment was perfect.. It was a short walk up to the old cite.. It was very clean and comfortable. We have been traveling around France for a month and needed some chill out time. This was the perfect place, sitting on the verandah enjoying the ambience. There are things to do if you want to be busy, or its perfect if you want to relax. Merci beaucoup Bruno

The apartment was perfectly located with a terrific view of Carcassone. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and quiet. The deck was wonderful, especially with a glass of wine while watching the lights turn on on the city walls. Bruno, the host, was very attentive to all our needs. Couldn’t have asked for better accommodations.

Only very minor issues, was told there would be milk and coffee etc, no milk and only a couple of coffee pods, not a problem, but better not list it. The armchair in the lounge is looking a bit tatty. None of this impacted on my stay and would still return.

Fabulous location, with a great view and easy access to the medieval city, the bastide, and restaurants. Heating and air conditioning, plenty of crockery, cutlery etc. Very comfy, would definitely stay again. The icing on the cake was the bottle of wine and the free ride back to the airport, thank you Bruno.
