Everything about Le Jardin Villemaurine is incredible! The house is very spacious and decorated beautifully. It is located close to the center of Saint-Émilion so you are within easy walking distance to everything you will need. The hosts were absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. Thank you for an amazing stay Alain and Beatrice, we will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful property right outside of the historic center of St Emilion. So convenient to restaurants and shopping. The kitchen had everything to make a wonderful dinner if desired. We got some steaks at the butcher and grilled them we a bottle of wine from one of the vineyards we visited. Thank you Alain and Béatrice.

The location is fantastic, an easy walk into town and the beautiful Chateau Soutard with a handy small shop nearby. Everything was perfect in the house - lovely decor, beautiful big garden, the beds were comfy, the kitchen was really well appointed, there was even a brilliant travel cot for our 10 month old who slept very well. We appreciated all the extra touches, like wine & macarons on arrival, very nice shower gel & shampoo in the bathroom. It felt like a high quality hotel with all the privacy of being in your own house.

The house was beautifully decorated and well equipped. It’s in a fantastic location for walking around St Emilion, close to all shops, restaurants and points of interest. It has a lovely garden with lots of things for kids to play with. The hosts were wonderful - great communication and very helpful.

This was a beautiful home! Every amenity was top quality and lacking in NOTHING. The home was beautiful and traditional for the area. I felt like it was my own home with all it's cozy charm. The yard was peaceful and beautiful to sit in with my morning coffee or glass of wine. The location is just perfect with a short and pretty walk to the center of town. The host was lovely! She left the home spotless and well stocked. I will stay here the next time I visit Saint Emillion.

simply stunning, an amazing home, which caters for everything you could possibly imagine, within 5 minute walk of the stunning St Emilion and all it’s wonderful restaurants and wine shops. having spent my career in hospitality I would highly recommend Alain’s beautiful home, he couldn’t do enough for us.

The kitchen cooker needs an extract hood. We couldn't get the grill to work properly (probably my fault). Otherwise nothing to criticize. Pricing policy difficult to understand.

Excellent facilities and as good as the description and photos! Quiet despite being next to a main road, because of double glazed windows. Bedroom airconditioning a real bonus during the hot weather (38deg C ) we were there. Garden lovely to sit in, albeit restricted during our visit due to the outside temperatures. Great walk in showers which actually work properly and don't splash everywhere! Street parking available behind the house but a very tight space (max 2 cars).

The house is absolutely lovely-even better than the pictures. The location was perfect - just a five minute stroll into the village of St. Emilion where parking can be a nightmare. The kitchen is beautfully equipped with excellent utensils and everything you could need to make wonderful meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and beautifully designed. Loved the view of the the vinyards from the large windows. Camille provided a box of delicious macarons (a local speciaily) as well as an excellent bottle of wine. She also had spot-on recommendations as to which chateaux to visit.

Easy to communicate and extremely thoughtful, our host was ready to meet us at the house when we arrived. A local family owns and operates the property, and each of them, the daughter, mother, and father, were charming beyond belief. You walk into a stunning private garden from a rather quiet road, a mere block from the entrance of Saint-Emilion. You cannot ask for a better location. This pet-friendly property was perfect for my two French bulldogs. It is completely fenced, private, safe, and has a big, flat lawn for the girls to play on. Beautiful flowers, lighting at night, a fountain, hammock, outdoor eating area, and an enviable BBQ space help to make the most of the outdoor living during sunny Saint-Emilion days. Inside, you first enter through a veranda that features a sideboard table full of business cards, tourist brochures, and information about the area. It was a great staging area for us to leave shoes and outdoor gear. You then enter into the kitchen and the first thing you might notice is the amazing decor. The entire house is fitted with thoughtful, beautiful, and regional-based decorations that instantly make you feel at home. It's comfortable and so fun to be in the house. We could have easily stayed MUCH longer. The kitchen is well fitted with everything you need and the living room is large and comfortable. The bedrooms are very generous in size and I absolutely LOVED the master ensuite. STUNNING. The owners worked so hard to please us and even had gifts for our pups. And I thought the idea of the table-top wine cellar with bottles to purchase was genius. The locally curated wine collection was fun to peruse and we purchased a few bottles to take home with us. Thank you SO so much for a terrific stay.

We loved our stay- the house is beautiful and super comfortable and the garden is lovely and private with a great bbq area. There are so many touches throughout the house and the garden where everything has been carefully thought of : a little bed for our dog, a well replenished wine bar, macarons to welcome us etc. The owners are lovely and really want their hosts to have the best time. And the location is ideal: the centre of St Emilion is 5 mins walk away- we did not need the car once !! I highly recommend this place
