No a la carte evening meal options. Being gluten intolerant having only three menu options - vegetarian, fish (trout), or meat (with gluten containing Tagliatelle) is no real choice. We had to hunt in the nearest town for an open restaurant, finally eating at a Tibetan restaurant/Take Away.

Excellent location in an old mill. Breakfast had a lot of home made cakes which were not gluten free. The croissants were very nice, but not gluten free. The gardens and immediate vicinity were very photogenic. An excellent shower. Friendly staff.

Motel room at hotel price. Lovely location but having driven 10 hours and being given the cold shoulder for arriving 28 minutes before the 4pm check in is pretty poor. No offer of a ‘hi, great you’re early - here’s a coffee please enjoy whilst you wait’… Sadly not ….. Very very cold. I was sorry I wasn’t French……I felt very ostracised

This was our third visit to this hotel and we chose it because it is in a lovely location - very peaceful and restful - giving good access to the countryside around with the opportunity for long walks. The hotel provide straightforward evening meals and one day provided us with an excellent packed lunch.

Parking is across the road and we were on second floor so be aware if you have heavy bags that you’ll need to carry them.

Perfect location next to very peaceful river, perfect for walks in the forest. Amazing spa complex right on the rivers edge - but note you have to book a time slot in advance. Breakfast buffet was delicious.

The rooms and bedding smelled of stale sweat. I would have rated this property more highly and I did contact the staff privately about the bedding on my return but they have not replied so I am sorry to add this to my review but with clean duvets and pillows I would recommend it as a lovely place to stay.

Beautiful peaceful setting and so quiet. Wonderful to be surrounded by birdsong and the chance to see otters in the stream.

We thought the all thing was a little bit overpriced. The room was clean and confortable but rather small and plain. Breakfast was super expensive. Dinner was okay. Shame since the hotel, location, staff, Spa are lovely. But still, we left with a feeling of having paid more than we get.

Oy thing is wifi was weak; but not at all important if you’re there for relaxing and traveling around towns during the day. Everything else was lovely!

Location and service was exceptional, really friendly staff. It’s a little bit of paradise in the middle of the bourgogne countryside. Complementary SPA was a big plus and very relaxing:)

We decided for this hotel because of the great SPA. Unfortunately they told us during the checkin there, that kids are not allowed in the pool, referring to the website and booking.com stating this there. It turned out, that it's not stated there and only gets mentioned in the booking process for the SPA after clicking a link in the confirmation email. My 5 year old daughter was very sad and we were very disappointed. It is misleading and unfair not making this clear before the booking is completed. It's definitely not a friendly place for families and I would not recommend considering coming there with kids. Also vegan options for dinner and breakfast are very limited.

Wow! One of the best stays I've had on Booking.Com and I've been through plenty. The hotel is situated on an old water mill, but the stream stilll flows and makes a pleasurable and tranquil environment to relax. And the spa area is so relaxing and you get to book a slot so can enjoy in comfort. The breakfast was also fabulous. Truly recommend this hotel.
