  “Very central in market square - a real village centre feel. Nice evening stroll around almshouses, churchyard, town hall, pubs. On the Ripon Rowell hike route so lovely walks in all directions - river, low moors, meadows. Hackfall wood nearby with old ruins but use hiking boots and poles - it’s a tough hilly detour in mud!”
