Faulty kettle boiled over in its drawer. It had already been reported (when we made our report) but nothing had been done.

Parking was limited and spaces are very small, very little room to maneuver and get out of the car once you are parked.

Room was clean and bed was lovely and comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and shower was amazing, all Dove products which I loved.

The air conditioning/Heating Our first night the room was very cold, we had tried to figure out which setting was heated. We did ask at the desk and they said they can set the heating via a control panel at the desk. But it still failed. To then flashing with a spanner. So just layered up for the two nights.

The staff are very friendly, the hotel was very clean very easy to find from Watford Junction Station. We had breakfast for the two days were here. Cooked and continental served all very nice for the both days. The location of the Hotel for thoes that are going to Harry Potter studio London the bus is 3min walk and runs every 15 mins which can be found at Watford Junction Station as you come out. Their are security guards their that ask to see your tickets.

The cleaning, the overall quality of everything including breakfast. Not much noise, allowing to a good night of rest. And for a first time ever in a hotel we had the reception ringing the room asking if everytuing was good, demonstrating there interest in their costumers!! Great!!

The bathroom was the only problem we had, and it was a design issue - nothing at all to do with the staff on duty. I felt that the door opened the wrong way into the room, so you had to go round it to enter. There appeared not to be any heating in the bathroom, and the floor was very cold. Also, there wasn't a heated towel rail to dry the towels or bath mat, which is so unusual in a quality hotel.

The staff couldn't do enough to help and were both professional and friendly - and this applied to every staff member we met. The restaurant service was excellent, and the food at dinner and breakfast was really lovely. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean and beautifully presented.

Room was cold & took a long time to warm up after I rang reception for heating to be put on.

When I checked in, the lady at the desk assured me I’d have a late 2pm check out. At 11am I was contacted by another receptionist and told I had to leave immediately. When I explained that a late check out had been confirmed at check in, I was told I wasn’t ‘eligible’ and had to leave at 1pm the latest.

Very easy to get to, just 2 minutes from the M1, and then a 2 minute walk to the train station with easy access to London. Hotel was lovely, clean and well presented. Breakfast was great

It was a good location for visiting Harry Potter studios, as the shuttle bus was at the end of the road as well as train station to go into central London. Great 24hr parking and lovely breakfast .
