Very minor thing- but the toilet seat was not the correct size for the actual toilet (seat was smaller than the actual toilet) Breakfast would operate alittle better if it was buffet-style so that guests can help themselves.

Great family room, friendly and welcoming staff and great location for the beach- only 10 min stroll.

Communal area seemed to have limited opening hours, and closed at 9pm so there was nowhere for our group to meet and socialise (bedrooms far to small!)

Single en suite room was small but clean and had small table and stool. Staff friendly and efficient and English breakfast (extra) excellent. 15 mins walk (uphill) from Convention Centre and beach.

Great location, clean communal areas and friendly staff. Room was clean & spacious with all the necessary facilities. Bed was very comfortable and had a quiet night. Bathroom lighting was a little dim and small but functional.

I would like to have seen a bed and breakfast rate rather than pre-book and pay separately for breakfast. I didn't realise that a full English option was only available at the weekend but the light breakfast was adequate for us. We had an issue with the light switch in the bathroom so it was left on but it was due to be fixed after the bank holiday.

Location- a ten minute walk to the beach. Room comfortable, bed huge! Breakfast good. Staff friendly.

A tiny, poorly furnished single room. No wardrobe or hanging space. Just a small chest of drawers. The bathroom opposite was adequate.

Perhaps it was the room we were in but it really needs TLC. The walls were had marks, bed was hard, pillows thin and furniture was old and felt dirty. The drawer handles were sticky and we had to clean everything with Dettol wipes. There are no closets in the room and the wee shelf on the wall had paint peeling off. The worst part was the bathroom sink that was the size of an airplane sink - very uncomfortable for family use. It is so tiny that the glass shelf above it covers half the sink which means you can’t wash your face or brush your teeth without wetting your feet and the bathroom floor. Our windows opened into the street so it’s noisy if you open them and hot if you don’t. a small table fan is provided, though. White bedroom light is depressing. There is no lift so please note if you can’t climb stairs.

The hotel is close to town center, the beach and many nice restaurants. The staff, from the receptionist to the cleaners, are all really nice and friendly. We realised upon arrival that our bathroom sink was completely blocked and it was unclogged within 10 min. Asked for the iron and clean towels which were brought promptly. There are several parking spots and the wee garden in the back is lovely. WiFi is provided and check in and check out was easy and smooth.

More like a dorm room than the pictures had shown. Not sure how this “hotel” had a 9+ rating. Our room was more fitting for a single bed than a double. Room walls need painting… older furnishings. Stark interior.

Bathroom was new and designed and decorated well although small. Sheets were nice, bed was comfy. Free parking on sight. Clean. Window opened. Staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful.

The bathroom was quite small and the water pressure was very bad. The bathroom tap didn’t work very well as there was no cold water coming out, despite the sign in the room saying the bathroom tap water was cold and safe to drink.

The room was very nice and clean, very close to the beach and the town, easy walking distance. very safe as it had the key fob entry on the door.

We had the family room as staying with our 2 year old, none of the furniture was anchored to the wall, which is important when you have a very curious two year old who likes to open all the drawers. Luckily it didn't fall on him, but might be a good idea to attach them to the wall the future.

The room was very clean, and the hotel is a very short walk to the beach and minutes from the highstreet. And for the price is vwas amazing value
