I called reception asking for a face flannel as there wasn’t one in the room, gentleman on reception said he’d call back and never did. Rainfall shower was lukewarm and poor pressure.

Good location, boujee decor and friendly staff. Rooms pretty standard but clean and comfortable. Bar and restaurant on site, mid-priced. Left our luggage with the hotel on our last stage who took good care of it.

Rather expensive for its locality. Shower was luke warm, couldnt book evening meal or breakfast on internet, kept taking us too booking an event page. Rather far out from centre so would expect better parking facilities, even pickup had to pay, double yellow lines everywhere, too many car restrictions in the area.

It was clean. Staff were friendly & helpful.

The room look some what tired and rough around the edges there was a hole in the leather sofa I expected better from the reputation of the brand.

Great location, just a short walk from lots of bars and restaurants. Lovely room spacious room, bathroom had large bath and separate walk in shower. Staff were amazing. Would stay again.

Appreciating that I visited during a busy weekend (2 Liverpool matches and Annual Cheltenham Race) the breakfast was a little slow and could be more slightly more expansive.

The room was very comfortable and spacious, despite a dripping show noise, with amble room to work if required. The breakfast was decent, scrambled eggs could use some work, but overall very satisfying despite the limited options.

Food was awful. Cooked breakfast was cold, tasteless starters and disappointing mains. Drinks overpriced. Rooms were tiny and so DARK! Bad decor, it was like a teenager from the 1960's designed the wallpaper. My brother's wallpaper was faux suede and so dusty! Terrible lighting. Windows that don't open made the rooms airless. Couldnt wait to leave actually. No niceties in the bathroom, not even a decent mirror to do your lippie. No parking either which was again, disappointing. On our last day they let people in with wet dogs. I like dogs but not when they have that particularly pungent smell and are shaking themselves dry while I'm at breakfast. BUT the staff were very nice.

The staff were amazing! From FOH to bar and restuarant, I couldn't fault their service, truly exceptional. The design and decor of the building however

I was shocked when I booked the club deluxe room I have stayed at Malmaison before but the club deluxe room just was the same as the normal room I stayed at before just a slightly bigger bed

Great location and car park next door. Good atmosphere in the bar in the evening and great breakfast in the morning. There was a lovely big bath in the room which was a nice surprise.

The Malmaison is a perfect location for a short stay in Liverpool. Right next door to the Liver Building, it is within walking distance of most of the visitor attractions. Checkin - quick, efficient and friendly. Room - large, good view, nice biscuits. Breakfast - very good. Large buffet selection and good quality ingredients in the cooked breakfast. Overall - recommended.

room was nice, location was good, breakfast was good quality but took quite a while to arrive. The staff were working hard but there weren't enough people during busy periods. We ended up sitting in the breakfast room for almost 40 mins waiting for two breakfasts to arrive.
