Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaAs mentioned in other reviews the hotel is quite old and very basic. The bathroom had a shower with no curtains, which wasn't the best for keeping the room clean, but it worked well enough. Only hand soap was provided, so make sure to bring your own toiletries.
The location of the hotel it's simply fantastic. It's the perfect basis for exploring the city. Staff is super friendly and reception is open h24. The view from the highest floors is very enjoyable and the underground station it's 1 minute away.

GreeceWell the hotel is a bit old and worn out. It could definitely use some renovation, but on the other side I wouldn't want the price to go up. I was completely satisfied with my room. Someone could say it was in a poor condition, but I found it adequate.
The location is excellent, next to Omonia Metro Station. Even though the area has some bad reputation, getting to the hotel even in the middle of the night felt safe. Great option for travelers on budget, who want to stay at and enjoy the city center. Plus the view to Omonia sq. from my room was insane!

United StatesIt’s an older building and the rooms could use a new coat of paint but for the price you can’t complain. The strong smell of cigarette smoke was coming into the room through the vent in the bathroom ceiling. A lot of noise coming from the street.
Very near a Metro station and grocery store. The room was big with a double bed and refrigerator. Plenty of hot water for the shower. The room had a small desk and two chairs. It was well worth the price.

GreeceThe only negative aspect was the night shift guy. Bad behaviour and unprofessional way of speaking to the guest. I liked the hotel i was supposed to go back many times but this kind of behaviour ruined it for me. I am also working in a small hotel and i think the behaviour of the stuff in this kind of hotels are super important. Morning gentleman was very friendly and kind though.
Everything in the room was great. Great value for money quiet clean room. You have everything you need for one night. You get what you pay for.

United KingdomThe room size is small. I would say only come here if you are accompanied by men. They have old school TV. The bed is the smallest double bed and quite old. But value for money
The location is superb as it is in the downtown and 1 min walk from the metro station.

GeorgiaThe hotel is old furnished and need renovation. I did not like bathroom, because there is no curtains and the water is everywhere after having shower.
The location is central, next to the metro and public transport. You can reach tourist attractions, Syntagma square by foot. Room is OK, fridge, TV, good mattresses. In Omonia Square there are restaurants, cafes, bakery and supermarket .

GreeceThe bathtub was in a crambled position and as an overweight person that gave me a little trouble fitting in. Other than that, it was a nice little comfy place to spend the night.
The location is literally in the middle of athens so you can have access to many shops and convenient stores within a few feet from the entrance, the staff was very helpful and understanding and overall it was a good experience.

EstoniaIt is a bit old renovated, but because I spent some time travelling in India, it reminded me a lot about facilities there😉.
Location is the best. Just literally 2 steps away is one of the central metro station and walking distance trough Plaka (old city) to Acropolis hill and main attractions.

AustraliaThe rooms are definitely dated and I only had hot water on one day out of three. The room doors seem a bit flimsy and could be stronger to provide more security. The building lift was quite old, but useful to reach the higher floors with luggage. On one of the nights, I went out late and returned to find the front door locked. There was a phone number to call on the front door, however this was a challenge due to my phone not having international roaming. I eventually was let in after using the phone at another hotel.
The location was good, walking distance to the Omonia Metro Station. Several food and drink options available within a block. WiFi connection was good and front desk staff were helpful. Rooms are air conditioned, but you need to collect the remote from the front desk. Price was cheap and I believe it is a case of getting what you paid for.

HungaryThis small room has limited space for two beds, a work desk, a refrigerator and one or two travel package. The cleanliness of the refrigerator is not perfect. Extra sheets and a blanket are provided as bedding. The bathroom is indescribably smelly and there is no shower cubicle or shower curtain, so after bathing you have to be driven out as a sailor.
The hotel’s location is great, just a few steps from Omonia Square. The receptionist was kind, the room was simple but functional, the balcony had a fabulous view.

AustraliaThe bed was very small for two people and one of the pillows was awful, like a rock.
The location and the staff were the best part of the hotel. Everything you need is right outside the front door and Plaka is walking distance. WiFi worked well. Rooms were VERY basic but after reading the reviews I didn’t arrive expecting a lot. I had hot water in the shower (after I let it ran a couple of minutes) towels, the Aircon was nice and cold and there was a bed to sleep in. It’s all I needed for the night. Rooms were very old and outdated however they were clean.
