The bathroom was quite small and she shower base also small, we had the shower curtain constantly getting glued to us.

We got a room with a view to the port and with 3 big windows. The staff was very nice, the location is great if you want to visit the city center and old town. The breakfast was very tasty.

If I have to comment shower area was very small with a curtain around. Care needed to make sure curtain didn't block drainage of water.

We had views of the sea so wonderful to see the sunrise/sunset. The hotel was metres from the sea front, beaches a good 15_ 20 min walk. It was a short distance to the bus station which made it easy to catch the bus to the airport and our trip up to Lindos. A good walk from the Port 25 mins but easy walking. A 5 minute walk to the the old town and all the sites within. We only wanted a bed and breakfast so facilities suited us. Breakfast was good.

I couldn't see a smoke detector in the room

The hotel was perfect for our late arrival from the airport. It was steps away from the bus stop and walking distance to the ferry terminal the next morning. There was a lovely breakfast included

Not really a complaint, but the shower area is quite small with a curtain surround. Care needs to be taken that the drain isn't blocked by the curtain.

We were lucky to have a room looking out to the sea and the lighthouse. The hotel is easy walking to the old town, beach and the bus station for trips around the Island and the airport. The hop on hop off bus just around the corner. Lots of restaurants near by. The room has double glazing which cuts out noise from the street. Breakfast was included an excellent spread.

The showers were a bit on the small side.

All 6 people in our group were delighted with our stay at Hotel Hermes. We had 5 very clean rooms all of which had a balcony and views over Mandrake Harbour. There was a reasonable choice at the Greek breakfast. The hotel is very well situated about a 10 minute walk to the Old Town. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

My second or third time here. Walking distance to everywhere. Good breakfast with nice opening hours from 7am to 10 am. Beautiful view from the room towards harbour. 24 hour reception. Will return!

After going through all the negative comments I must agree with only one. The plumbing in the bathroom gives off a bad smell.

For a budget hotel, very good.

Good location for a quick sprint to the port. Hermes is well placed for transiting airport / Rhodes / distant islands. Stayed before, will do so again. Only negative is taxi driver reluctance to deliver you to the door.
