Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The owner was very kind, arranging for us to be picked up from the port and returned to the port at the end of our stay. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.Having a cooked breakfast every other day was a great bonus.The swimming pool was great with a lot of sun beds .

The hotel is well-located in the village and the rooms are very nicely decorated. The pool area is really beautiful and there were mornings when I had it all to myself. The breakfast was served to my table on the terrace and varied a little bit each day, which was nice. The wifi worked well most of the time during my stay, which is about as much as you can expect on a small island. Several really nice places to eat nearby and, if you want to venture a little further - probably 30 minutes walk, there's a lovely restaurant called Pharos at the end of the bay!

United KingdomHanging space was OK for a man's shirt but useless for a maxi-dress; had to hang clothes in the room itself. 'Toiletries' disappointing: very elderly re-filled bottle of liquid soap. Staff present for breakfast and cleaning but most of the time there was nobody around; understandable this year but a regular contact time each evening would have been helpful.
Great location, quirky decor, plenty of space, excellent breakfast, pool and seating areas much better than expected from a 2* hotel,. Met from ferry and luggage carried to room. Plenty of different seating areas, offering sun and shade. Very close to restaurants, local baker, small supermarkets.

For the price bathroom facilities should be better Double bed on concrete platform with access from only one side very difficult to get in and out Good facilities around pool but was bombarded by flies all the time so stopped using the pool. First time we used pool lots of sunbeds had bird droppings on them!! Breakfast there could have been a lot better choice
